A few days ago, ESL FACEIT Group joined forces with Activision to include CoD Mobile in the events to be played in the Snapdragon Pro Series. In addition, it was also announced that the agreement was for two years, so a big boom in CoD Mobile events worldwide is expected.

However, many more details regarding year 2 of the Snapdragon Pro Series were released a few hours ago. One of them is the expansion of the event series to Latin America. This opens the doors for many casual players who want to prove themselves by playing at a higher level in this region, which undoubtedly tends to be excluded by tournament organizers on many occasions.

ESL FACEIT Group announces expansion of CoD Mobile Snapdragon Pro Series to LATAM

The ESL FACEIT Group announced that the CoD Mobile Snapdragon Pro Series in Year 2 would expand to LATAM starting April 2023.

According to the announcement published on its official blog and Twitter account, Seasons 3 and 4, which will be played this season, will now be called Year 2. In addition, a juicy prize pool was announced, amounting to $2,575,000, which will be distributed among ten esports titles.

As discussed in a previous article, the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: CoD Mobile will have a prize pool of $1.5M in this new partnership. An announcement released last April 25 details this prize pool will be spread over four events throughout the year.

Garena Free Fire becomes a Mobile Masters title

Another of the announcements revolves around Garena Free Fire, another mobile game considered one of the most popular in the world and, above all, in LATAM. The organizers announced that this mobile title will now become a Mobile Master and will also have a $200,000 prize pool.

On the other hand, ESL also confirmed that the Snapdragon Pro Series would be part of the 2023 Brawl Stars season, specifically in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. These tournaments will award points for the 2023 Brawl Stars season finals.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has also received big news, as a tournament with a $150,000 prize pool will also be added to the Snapdragon Pro Series circuit. In addition, it is worth noting that this will be the first time ESL FACEIT Group will host a “standalone arena event” in mobile titles.

Expansion of Snapdragon Pro Series to LATAM

Now, focusing on the expansion of the Snapdragon Pro Series tournament series in LATAM, we can highlight that players can play on Samsung Galaxy cell phones, CoD Mobile, Asphalt 9, Garena Free Fire, and many more.

There is no doubt that the introduction of CoD Mobile in the Snapdragon Pro Series is a great success for ESL FACEIT Group because now, players from all over the world will have the chance to qualify for the CoD Mobile World Championship and the Mobile Masters. Remember that the COD Mobile World Championship has a prize pool of $1,000,000 and the Mobile Masters of $200,000, which will be played in April 2024.
