ENCE and Team Vitality qualify for Gamers8 2023 Grand Final

The CS:GO event of the Saudi Arabian esports festival, the Gamers8 2023, is coming to its final stretch, and we have ENCE, and Team Vitality sealed their tickets for the tournament’s Grand Final. We are undoubtedly in the presence of the two teams with the best level since both have been among the best in the last tournaments played.

However, we will see if ENCE can beat a team as strong and dangerous as Vitality in the Grand Final this time.

On Vitality’s side, they come from an excellent 2-1 victory over G2 Esports, while ENCE defeated Heroic for the second consecutive tournament in a crucial match.

ENCE crush Heroic to qualify for the Gamers8 2023 Grand Final

ENCE continues to surprise everyone in the CS:GO competitive scene, and, this time, we have that, for the second consecutive tournament, they crushed Heroic by 2-0. Moreover, with this victory, they qualify for the second Grand Final in a row, which shows that their level of play is higher than ever. Although Heroic put up a great fight in the first map, which was defined through several overtimes, in the second map, they were completely crushed, and now they are going home without being able to play in the Grand Final.

It all started on Nuke, the ENCE map pick, where we witnessed a really exciting and extremely intense match. In the first half, Heroic took advantage of the good moment of Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard and Rasmus “sjuush” Beck to take a close 8-7 partial victory. Then, at the change of sides, we had a give and take from the beginning, but finally, ENCE could even score 15-15 and send the map to Overtime. Finally, after several Overtime rounds, ENCE took the victory by 22-20 to start the series with an advantage.

In the second map, Overpass, things changed radically. Heroic was always crushed by ENCE and by Guy “NertZ” Iluz, who was phenomenal. In the first half, Heroic may have had some opportunities to win crucial rounds, but ENCE denied them and managed to take a 10-5 partial victory. Then, at the change of sides, Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia and NertZ annihilated the Danish defense to take the 16-5 victory and qualify for the tournament’s Grand Final.

Team Vitality beat G2 Esports by 2-1

The second match of this day was between two really important teams in the CS:GO competitive scene: Team Vitality and G2 Esports. As expected, both teams gave their all in each round, so we enjoyed 3 spectacular maps. However, one of the two had to take the victory, and this time, Team Vitality scored 2-1.

It all started on Inferno, the G2 Esports map pick, where Team Vitality started very strongly on their CT side to take a partial victory in the first half by 11-4. Then, at the change of sides, G2 Esports tried to wake up and even got closer on the scoreboard. However, this was not enough, as, Vitality managed to win the remaining five rounds to take the victory by 16-12.

The teams then moved to Anubis, Team Vitality’s map pick, where G2 Esports woke up and hit back in a big way to even the series 1-1. Team Vitality stepped up in the first half to take a narrow 8-7 partial victory. However, when the sides switched sides, G2 Esports’ defense was impenetrable, and they managed to take the 16-10 victory.

Finally, the teams met in Mirage to define the second finalist of Gamers8 2023. The map started with G2 Esports demonstrating great defensive capabilities by winning the first half by 9-6. However, at the change of sides, Team Vitality relied on the awakening of Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Emil “Magisk” Reif to even the score 15-15 and sent the map to Overtime. In the end, Vitality took the 19-15 victory to become the second finalist of the tournament.
