Finally, after one year of wondering in the wilderness of Dota 2’s professional scene, Solo is back on a serious roster, backed up by a reputable organization. Hopefully, the time he spent inactive and playing for NoTechies has not ruined his game knowledge. Because as captain of Natus Vincere, he will have a lot of work to do.

The New Na’Vi Roster

This is Na’Vi’s roster for season 1 of Dota Pro Circuit 2022.

Solo

You probably know him from Virtus.pro, where he spent 4 years, winning 5 Majors and numerous other tournaments. He also finished 5th – 6th at The International in 2017 and 2018. Overall, the 31-year-old Russian is one of the most knowledgeable and successful Dota 2 captains of the last 5 years and his odds of succeeding with Na’Vi are very high.

No[o]ne

Just like Solo, No[o]ne is a former Virtus.pro member and one of the most famous midlaners in the game. At just 23, his prowess with heroes like Dragon Knight, Invoker, Storm Spirit, and Outworld Devourer is widely respected not just by the regional Dota 2 community, but by fans and professional players from around the world.

V-Tune

V-Tune has been playing for Na’Vi for one year and proved that he does have the potential to be a great carry. At just 21 years of age, he can still grow a lot under the right leadership. And now that Solo and Artstyle have joined the organization, he will benefit from their tremendous experience. If everything goes well, V-Tune could become the best carry in CIS next season. At the moment, his MMR is over 11,000.

GeneRaL

In total, GeneRaL has played for Na’Vi for more than 3 years. This offlaner usually does a great job when he has a solid team to back him up and a great captain who knows how to fully utilize his potential.

One of the great things about GeneRaL is that he’s accustomed to playing on big stages and against world-class opponents. Perhaps his greatest victory is the one from the Grand Final of StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2. In that match, Na’Vi defeated Team Secret with a score of 3 – 1.

GeneRaL’s MMR is over 10,000. So just like V-Tune, he’s a top Immortal player in the CIS region.

ALOHADANCE

ALOHADANCE is just 24 years old and the least accomplished player on Na’Vi’s current roster. However, he has 8 years of professional experience, competing for some of the best organizations in CIS: Empire, HellRaisers, Vega Squadron, Winstrike, and FlyToMoon. He certainly has the potential to play alongside Solo in this lineup, but he will need to transition from his original position 5 to position 4.

Artstyle (coach)

For Dota 2 enthusiasts, Artstyle needs no introduction. The 32-year-old veteran was part of the first Na’Vi roster that won The International 2011 and played professionally until the end of 2016. His coaching career is very impressive: several top 6 results at The International, 4 Major titles, and a wide array of other accomplishments. All of them were obtained with Virtus.pro.

Na’Vi’s Chances in 2022

As you probably know, Na’Vi failed to qualify for The International 10, which is in part the reason why they’ve decided to change their roster. However, in 2022 the team has excellent chances of winning regional events or at least qualifying for DPC Majors. Its main rivals will be Virtus.pro and Team Spirit.

Both squads are quite strong right now, but Solo and his teammates have everything they need to triumph over them. If they train hard, until the start of the new season Na’Vi will achieve fluency with its new roster and be ready to go head-to-head against the best in CIS.
