NaVi crush KOI to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2023

It was a dark day for Spanish content creator Ibai Llanos’ organization, KOI. Not only were they eliminated from the LEC Summer Split 2023 (League of Legends), but they also suffered a clean sweep against NaVi, leaving them with no options to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2023. However, they failed to win a single map in that series, so they fell to the Lower Bracket and faced the winner between NaVi and KCorp. Then, in this match of the Lower Bracket Final, where the second place for the VALORANT Champions 2023 was at stake, KOI could not win any map against NaVi either, and they said goodbye to the tournament in the worst possible way.

NaVi crush KOI to seal their ticket to VALORANT Champions 2023

As mentioned, NaVi showed an unrelenting level of play in this LCQ EMEA Lower Bracket Final match against KOI, and they managed a 3-0 victory to seal their qualification to the VCT Champions 2023.

It all started in Split, KOI’s map pick, where we had an interesting and exciting match. However, NaVi prevailed in Overtime to take the win.

The first half had KOI as protagonists in their defensive side, as they achieved an even 7-5 victory. Then, at the change of sides, NaVi woke up on their defensive side to even the score at 12-12 and sent the map to Overtime. Finally, NaVi won the first two rounds to take the 14-12 victory and start the series on the right foot.

On the second map, Pearl, NaVi started extremely strong on their attacking side, as they managed a 10-2 partial victory in the first half. However, KOI would not stand idly by, as Berkant “wolfen” Joshkun saw that his teammates woke up and got within 10-12 on the scoreboard. Ultimately, NaVi won the final round to take the 13-10 victory.

NaVi comes from behind to win on Fracture

The last map, Fracture, was more similar, as both teams played at a really impressive level. The first half was a 7-5 win for KOI on their attacking side, which gave them some confidence to stay alive in the series. However, this only awakened the beast in NaVi, as their attacking side was so spectacular that they managed to come from behind and take a comfortable 13-9 win.
