CDA-FDC Professional Championship Final 4

CDA-FDC Professional Championship is getting close to the Grand Final. Only 4 teams are left in the race and the matches ahead look exciting. No doubt, this is the highest competitive level in China at the moment and the majority of the top contenders are about to clash for a chance to win not necessarily money, but prestige. The prize pool of the event is quite modest: $89,000. But the benefits of competing with some of the best teams in the world and finish in the top 4 are substantial.

The Results So Far

Up until this point, CDA-FDC Professional Championship provided only a few upsets. In fact, apart from EHOME, I can’t think of anyone that played below expectations in this tournament. As for EHOME, they had a fantastic start, winning against RNG and MagMa without losing a single game. Then they got crushed by 4AM in the 3^rd match of the Group Stage. In the Playoffs, Sccc and his squad defeated Invictus Gaming and then had to face the strongest team in China, PSG.LGD. That’s when they realized how much more they need to improve to dominate the region. Because in both games, PSG.LGD was superior. In spite of falling behind sometimes in net worth, Ame’s roster always looked like they were in control.

After they lost to PSG.LGD, which wasn’t a surprise, EHOME lost again in the Lower Bracket, this time against Team Aster. Aster is not a bad team. With Monet as their carry and BoBoKa in the 4 position, this competitor is constantly in the top 4 at big regional events. But still, EHOME should have won the match. The final score was 1 – 2 in favor of Aster.

Upcoming Matches

As a consequence of what happened so far at CDA-FDC Professional Championship, we now have two important matches to watch.

Royal Never Give Up – PSG.LGD

Every statistic for this match indicates that PSG.LGD will smash RNG. At the very least, they should win with a score of 2 – 1. The last 4 disputes between these two teams ended with a victory for PSG.LGD. In addition to that, Ame’s team finished 1^st and 2^nd place respectively at its last two tournaments. In my view, they are the Team Secret of China at this point in time and should be regarded as a clear favorite in almost any match.

Elephant.4AM – Team Aster

This match is likely to be extremely close. In terms of its roster composition, 4AM is much stronger than Aster. But because the team is still very young, the match is likely to be quite a difficult one for both sides.
