BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas had a fantastic week 1 with a lot of spectacular draws. The vast majority of matches ended without a winner and this is a clear sign that everyone is eager to score points and able to compete at this level. With few exceptions, such as Quincy Crew (2 W – 0 D – 0 L), I can’t really spot a dominant participant that has shown promising signs that it could win the tournament without too many problems.

Week 1 Results

The results after week 1 of BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas are as follows:

  • 1st place: beastcoast: 3 W – 3 D – 0 L: 9 points
  • 2nd place: Thunder Predator: 2 W – 4 D – 0 L: 8 points
  • 3rd place: Infamous: 1 W – 5 D – 1 L: 7 points
  • 4th place: Team Brasil: 1 W – 5 D – 0 L: 7 points
  • 5th place: CR4ZY: 1 W – 3 D – 1 L: 5 points
  • 6th place: Team Zero: 1 W – 3 D – 3 L: 5 points
  • 7th place: Quincy Crew: 2 W – 0 D – 0 L: 4 points
  • 8th place: Infinity Esports: 0 W – 4 D – 1 L: 4 points
  • 9th place: 4 Zoomers: 1 W – 1 D – 2 L: 3 points
  • 10th place: Havan Liberty: 0 W – 2 D – 4 L: 2 points

As you can see, a lot of teams had numerous draws. In particular, beastcoast started the tournament with 3 consecutive wins but then started to draw against everyone.

Week 2 Preview

The most impressive teams so far have been Quincy Crew (don’t be fooled by their low rank, they’ve only played two matches so far), beastcoast, Thunder Predator, and Team Brasil. These are the competitors you’ll probably want to keep an eye on during the second competitive week.

Quincy Crew will have a lot of matches this week. And with one or two exceptions, you can be pretty certain that they’ll demolish everyone. You should be careful in their disputes against Thunder Predator and beastcoast. Apart from these two teams, I don’t see anyone capable of making them stumble. But perhaps Team Brasil will succeed in getting draw. So far, they’ve had 5 in the first 6 matches.

The reason why Team Brasil is so solid has to do with its superstar players: 4rd, KINGRD, and Costabile. All of these players have been around for several years and were part of teams that made history for South America.

At the end of this next week, the top 4 teams will advance to the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs, the next 4 teams will advance to the Lower Bracket while the last 2 teams will be eliminated. Based on everything I’ve seen so far, I would put Quincy Crew, beastcaost, Thunder Predator, and Team Brasil in the top 4 positions. The teams that will most likely get eliminated are Havan Liberty and Infinity Esports.
