Jkaem And Nawwk Move To BLEED Esports

BLEED Esports seems to have more epic ambitions than we previously thought. In 2024, they haven’t played in a single A-tier tournament. Let alone an S-tier one! Their best result came at Thunderpick World Championship European Series #1, where they were victorious. But this was a B-tier event.

When it comes to qualifying for CS2’s biggest competitions, the previous BLEED roster would have had no chance. But now, with the signing of jkaem and nawwk, we might see a whole new level of performance from them.

Jkaem’s Results

Jkaem is well-known in Counter-Strike for his long and somewhat successful career. His best results came at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 (3rd – 4th), IEM Beijing (2nd), BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 (3rd – 4th), and Elisa Masters Espoo 2023 (2nd).

At 30 years old, jkaem has all the experience he needs to make a big contribution to a newly built roster. He’s not an IGL, but he could certainly have valuable things to say when it comes to formulating strategy and winning tactics.

Jkaem spent the last two and a half years competing for Apeks and obtained very impressive results with this organization. This is likely the reason why he was signed, along with the fact that he’s probably one of the most affordable players of his caliber on the market.

Nawwk’s Results

Nawwk used to play for Ninjas in Pyjamas and GamerLegion before joining Apeks. With NiP, he finished 3rd – 4th at ESL Pro League S13. With GL, he played in the Grand Final of Moche XL Esports 2019, which was an A-tier event.

This is a promising player who competed for two and a half years for Apeks and made a major contribution as the team’s AWPer. No doubt, BLEED Esports could use someone like him. And since he already knows jkaem from Apeks and hampus (BLEED’s IGL) from NiP, the new roster is likely to achieve fluency much faster than usual.

BLEED’s Future

Time will tell if the new signings are sufficient to achieve improved results. Until the end of the season, we shouldn’t expect very much from BLEED. But starting with 2025, we might see them at lots of A-tier and even some S-tier tournaments.
