TNC Predator’s “Gabbi” has become the latest player to reach 11,000 MMR, with the SEA talent having joined an illustrious group in the process. The 22-year-old achieved the landmark following a nine-game winning streak, with the Filipino Dota 2 player having reached the milestone on Sunday evening.

How Reaching 11,000 MMR is the Latest Achievement for Gabbi

In what was his final game of the evening on Anti-Mage, Gabbi was playing alongside former Captain March, whose silencer undoubtedly helped him in his half hour hot streak. It is such performances that have seen Gabbi rise to third on the SEA leaderboard, with only new Vici Gaming signing “23Savage” and Evil Geniuses’ “Abed” sitting ahead of him. Meanwhile, Gabbi’s TNC Predator teammate “Armel” reached 10,000 MMR back in March, with it surely only being a matter of time until the 20-year-old makes it to 11,000.

TNC Predator won the recent ESL One Thailand, while they also became the first Dota Pro Circuit Major winners following their success at the MDL Chengdu Championship. However, a series of disappointing performances since then meant that the team was forced into making changes. The highest profile of which was the release of South Korean Captain March, with the veteran 32-year-old having yet to be replaced.

What the Future Holds for the SEA Dota 2 Scene

Following the culmination of the third BTS Pro Series season last month, the SEA Dota scene has been very quiet. However, with the next major event being the ONE Esports’ Dota 2 Invitational Jakarta, a tournament which is worth some $500,000, anticipation is already high. Gabbi will be looking to improve upon his results for TNC, having made a name for himself in pubs.

Danil “gpk” Skutin became the third Dota 2 pro to reach 11,000 MMR back in August this year, joining Abed and 23Savage in doing so. However, Gabbi has now joined them, with his team TNC Predator having posted the following on Twitter: We congratulate @gabbidoto for hitting 11k MMR! You truly are one of the best carries in the world! Welcome to the 11k club!
