Blizzard President Mike Ybarra has revealed additional information about the upcoming Overwatch 2 Invasion including news skins and the look of the new support hero reportedly called Illari.

The Overwatch 2 Season 6 is on its way, and with it will come an array of exciting new features and content that are set to transform the game. The much-awaited Overwatch 2 Invasion update promises to bring a brand-new story mode, a new support hero, King’s Row map, a new PvP game mode called Flashpoint, and a new Hero Mastery feature.

Blizzard decks out its campus in anticipation of the much-anticipated Season 6 Invasion, which will be the biggest content drop since the sequel was launched. Blizzard President Mike Ybarra accidentally shared a picture of the decoration on Twitter, giving away a sneak peek of the upcoming season’s content.

The decoration’s now-deleted picture reveals the upcoming skins, including a unique Mythic Ana skin in which the sniper character is changed into a potential Omnic. Fans also noticed what appears to be the game’s new support hero in the upper left corner. Reaper, Cassidy, Pharah, and Genji are also featured in the picture, all of whom are decked out with Omnic-inspired skins. It’s unclear if these will be included in the Battle Pass or offered for sale in the store.

New leaks reveal more details about the new Support Hero Illari:

As Overwatch’s new season is only a few weeks away, speculation and leaks about the upcoming hero, Illari have flooded the internet. In the Invasion announcement trailer, Blizzard Entertainment made a reference to the hero, but not much is known about her. New leaks, however, have given players a better look at hero Illari, fueling hype and excitement around the new hero among the Overwatch community.

According to the leaked details, she will possess a destroyable healing turret and a cooldown-based ability that is comparable to Baptiste’s jump that may knock enemies back. Illari is also said to possess a beam that, depending on the victim, can inflict harm or heal. Her ultimate, which consists of a single rocket that causes damage and bestows a debuff on anyone struck, is supposed to mirror Raze’s from Valorant. Irrespective of whether the leaks are accurate or not, Overwatch 2 Season 6 is shaping up to be an exciting content drop to look forward to.
