The Challengers Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major is history, and after four days of intense emotions, we already know the eight teams that will be present at the Legends Stage of the last Major in the CS:GO era.

Right now, we have 16 teams that will fight to be crowned champions in this last Major, take home the $500,000 in prizes, and seal their direct ticket to the IEM Cologne 2023 and the BLAST Premier World Final.

So far, we have enjoyed an excellent tournament that has left us with surprises, such as eliminating teams like MOUZ and OG, which had everything to advance to the next phase. However, not all the surprises are unpleasant, as Apeks, Monte, and GamerLegion managed to advance to the Legends Stage, the least favorite teams in the Challengers Stage.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Legends Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends Stage – Details

The next tournament stage, the Legends Stage, will start next Saturday, May 13, and run until May 16. As we know, the eight teams that performed the best in the Challengers Stage will face the teams that previously qualified for the Legends Stage in the respective RMRs worldwide.

The 16 teams that will be present at this stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major are the following:

  • NaVi
  • 9INE
  • FURIA
  • Fnatic
  • Heroic
  • Into The Breach
  • Team Vitality
  • Bad New Eagles
  • ENCE
  • G2 Esports
  • Apeks
  • FaZe Clan
  • NiP
  • Monte
  • Team Liquid
  • Team GamerLegion

We are less than 24 hours away from the start of the last Legends Stage that we can enjoy in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. First, however, let’s remember that the next event sponsored by Valve will be played in March 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and it will be with Counter-Strike 2.

Format

The format used in the Legends Stage of the Paris Major will be the same as we observed in the Challengers Stage. This means the teams will face each other in a Swiss stage; from the second to the fifth round, the teams will be seeded using the Buchholz system.

All matches, except the elimination and advancement matches, will be played best-of-one (BO1). The top eight teams from this phase will qualify for the playoffs or, as it is popularly known, the Champions Stage.

Legends Stage match schedule

As mentioned, the Legends Stage will kick off next Saturday, May 13, 2023, and we will enjoy some exciting matches.

  • NaVi vs. Team GamerLegion – 11:30 CEST
  • 9INE vs. Team Liquid – 11:30 CEST
