BLAST Premier World Final has begun and on day one, four matches will be played. All of them are worth watching because the competitive level is extremely high. OG is considered to be the “worst” team here.

Two of the four matches involve group A while the other two involve group B. The odds of success for each team are analyzed below.

Outsiders vs. Team Liquid

Outsiders are the winners of IEM Rio Major. But they’re not exactly famous for their consistency. Several players on this roster had another great performance several years ago, when they finished second at a CS:GO Major. But soon after, they became really weak and it was clear that they weren’t training as hard as before.

If Outsiders are still the same team that won the Major, then they are definitely the favorites here. But it’s quite likely that their Major win was their peak and that Liquid will give them a hard time in this match.

Liquid’s last result was a third-fourth place at BLSAT Premier: Fall Finals. The team looked great during the tournament.

FaZe Clan vs. G2 Esports

For Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, this tournament probably means a lot. He joined G2 Esports at the start of 2022 and so far, he has experienced a lot of heartbreaking moments. This match, against FaZe Clan, is likely to be another one.

G2 brought in Justin “jks” Savage and Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen in August. But neither of them has been able to improve the team’s results.

As for FaZe, their most recent result was a sign of strength: second place at BLAST Premier: Fall Finals.

Heroic vs. OG

Despite being regarded as the underdogs, OG have a good chance of winning this match. Heroic decided to play the tournament with a stand-in. Martin “stavn” Lund was temporarily replaced by Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke and the roster has been greatly weakened as a result.

In theory, Heroic are the number one team in the world. But because of this change, they’re actually quite vulnerable. It remains to be seen if OG can exploit the weakness.

Natus Vincere vs. Team Vitality

This will be the most exciting match of the day. The world’s greatest CS:GO players, Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut will fight hard to carry their respective teams to victory. The two have them have a lot of respect for each other and either could win.

Right now, Natus Vincere look a bit stronger, but the odds are almost 50-50.
