At the beginning of the year, the venues of the Majors that would be played in the 2023 season in the competitive scene of Dota 2 were announced. However, a few hours ago, some details were revealed regarding the third of them, the Bali Major 2023.

After a Lima Major that was very successful and a Berlin Major that is just hours away from starting, Valve decides to give some details regarding what will be the third Major of the season.

Bali Major 2023 – Details

The third Major of the 2023 Dota 2 season will come to Indonesia, specifically Bali, from June 29 to July 9, 2023. The event will feature 18 of the world’s top teams and a prize pool of $500,000.

IO Esports will organize this third Major of the 2023 season and will do so in partnership with EPULZE, one of the world’s leading esports event producers.

IO Esports CEO said:

“The Bali Major is a massive event for all DOTA 2 fans, especially Indonesia fans. Our top priority is ensuring everyone will have a great time, whether joining us here at AYANA Resort or watching the matches from their homes. Players are not the only ones getting in on the action, as we also have various fan activities. Follow our social media channels and join in the fun!”

On the other hand, it was announced that the event would be held at the Ayana estate, a five-star luxury resort considered one of the “most heavenly places in the world.”

This luxurious resort is just a few meters from the sea, so players and fans can relax and enjoy a spectacular getaway in addition to the intense competitions.

Ayana Estate

As mentioned, the Ayana Estate is a luxurious 5-star resort responsible for hosting the Bali Major 2023. However, there is still no specific site within the facility where the event will be organized. But, it is speculated that it may be in some of the “private event venues” the resort has within.

This may be a cause for concern for fans who want to attend the Major, as it is very likely that the site will be much smaller than the huge arenas we are used to seeing Dota 2 Majors.

However, it is also rumored that the event could be held outdoors (of course, with the necessary protections for players, fans, and, above all, computers). This resort has a beautiful area for outdoor events and activities that can hold up to 1,500 people.

This is all the information IO Esports has revealed on its official blog. However, it should be noted that this event will take place only a few days after the Tour 3 DPC Regional Leagues are played.

While more information is being published, fans can get ready to enjoy the next Berlin Major that will start tomorrow, April 26.
