Fourth Wall Esports Club, a new esports organization created by those behind London Esports, Bulldog Esports, and Absolved, hopes to impact the UK esports community positively.

All members of this new organization are former X7 Esports staff who have joined forces to create this new organization.

Fourth Wall Esports Club

This new organization is headed by four personalities who played a significant role in X7 Esports: Alfie Wright, Tony “Newts” Newton, Robin “Robinho” Cheng, and Nile ‘Oldboy’ Lynch.

Following the announcement, the British organization known as London Esports was renamed Fourth Wall Esports Club after being inactive for several months following the acquisition of X7 Esports.

  • Alfie W Wright was the CEO of London Esports. He became COO of X7 after the latter acquired Londo Esports last year.
  • Tony “Newts” Newton, a founder of Bulldog Esports, became X7’s director of esports after X7 acquired his organization.
  • Robin “Robinho” Cheng, manager of Absolved, was X7’s League of Legends director.
  • Nile “Oldboy” Lynch was X7’s academy team manager.

These four personalities will now have similar roles to those they previously held at X7, meaning that together they will grow Fourth Wall for the foreseeable future.

Wright said:

“I’m thrilled to relaunch the brand I’ve built for nearly half a decade. I’m looking forward to continuing our work supporting the grassroots scene and helping to better position the UK as a leader in the eSports and gaming space.”

Fourth Wall Esports Club will compete in League of Legends NLC Division 2, as we saw in the Tweet above, using London Esports’ social media, rebranded as Fourth Wall.

A new brand for the community

The logo of the new organization flees from the black and frequent colors used by all other esports organizations. Instead, they opt for pastel colors claiming that this is to make Fourth Wall:

“Accessible to everyone, not just the typical audience.”

As we mentioned, the idea behind this brand is to focus on the community. They plan to do two weekly events to get the community more involved. Following in the wake of the testing camps that London Esports used to organize.

We don’t know the date and location of the first events, but Fourth Wall expects a full line-up with great prizes and much more. All this is to give the events a “home from home” feel.

Alfie Wright also said:

“I think we have really good ideas, we have brands that want to work with us. We have talented people like Robin, Newts and Nile and others to be announced soon, so let’s still carry on with what we did at London, in a sense.”

London Esports

The Londo Esports organization competed professionally in titles such as League of Legends, CS:GO, and VALORANT. The organization lifted different trophies during the five years it was active, including the last League of Legends UK League Championship in 2021.
