All the details of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023

The long-awaited and popular PUBG Mobile World Invitational is coming soon, where all game fans can enjoy their favorite teams fighting for the top prize and the title of champions.

Yesterday, April 25, Tencent released all the details related to the PMWI of 2023. So at this moment, we already know how the tournament format will be, how many teams will be fighting, and what the prize pool will be at stake.

All the details of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023

In the PUBG Mobile World Invitational, the best teams will fight to get a share of the important prize pool of this tournament. We are discussing a prize pool of no less than $ 3 million.

This year’s tournament is possible thanks to the partnership between Tencent and Gamers8. The competition takes place in July.

Among the participating teams will be the best that managed to win the title in the PMPL regional competitions of the spring season; other guest teams that are very popular and loved by the game’s fans will also be present. The venue where all the participants will gather to fight in this prestigious event that will take place from July 11-16 is Riyadh (KSA).

Format of the PMWI 2023

The first phase of the event is dedicated to the Allstars teams and will take place from July 11 to 13. In this edition, fans can choose 14 of the teams participating in the tournament through voting. On the other hand, some places will be filled by Tencent’s guest teams.

Voting to choose the 14 Allstrars teams will take place from May 26 to May 30. According to the ranking of these teams, the top 5 will go directly to the main event.

The next phase of the tournament, the main event, will take place from July 14 to 16. In this tournament phase, the 16 best teams will play against each other. It will certainly be something very interesting to watch.

Of the 16 teams participating, 11 come from various world regions and are joined by the top 5 teams from the Allstars phase.

The spring season champions from South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas have one of the 11 spots in the main event. Two other teams that will also join the finals are Tianba and STE, the two best teams from China.

On the other hand, Alter Ego, the Indonesian team that won the PUBG mobile Super League, will also be present; Shine Like Diamond, the second-best team in the Super League, will also be present at the PMWI main event. The team in charge of representing the host country is Twisted Minds.
