All teams qualified for VCT Ascension 2023 in EMEA region

Nine of the ten teams that will battle for the coveted berth for the VCT EMEA League in 2024 and 2025 are defined, and they will start fighting from June 30 in the VALORANT Challengers Ascension EMEA.

The remaining team to complete the ten list will be defined in a Play-In from June 22 to 27, where nine teams will fight for the remaining place for the VALORANT Challengers Ascension EMEA. A very exciting and interesting battle is expected between all these qualified teams, as they have shown great play throughout the season.

The table is set for these teams to fight for the coveted and dreamed slot for the VCT EMEA League during the next two seasons.

VCT Ascension 2023 – EMEA Qualifying Teams

As mentioned, nine of the ten teams qualified for the VCT Ascension 2023 come from the different EMEA regions. These teams are as follows:

• Apeks – Northern: Polaris
• Case Esports – Spain: Rising
• Gentle Mates – France: Revolution
• CGN Esports – DACH: Evolution
• Digital Athletics – Turkey: Birlik
• Acend – East: Surge
• Team Falcons – MENA: Resilience
• Dsyre – Italy: Rinascimento
• SAW – Portugal: Tempest

On the other hand, nine other teams will fight in the Play-Ins for a place in this tournament that defines the new team playing in the VCT EMEA League during the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

As we look at these teams, Apeks, Digital Athletics, and SAW could be the ones that are a step above the rest since their respective regional leagues are a little more competitive. However, in VALORANT anything can happen, so we must wait and, above all, enjoy each of the matches.

VCT Ascension 2023 – EMEA Format and Schedule

The VCT Ascension 2023 – EMEA will be played from June 30 to July 16, 2023, and the tournament will be divided into two stages. First of all, we have the Group Stage, which will be played from June 30 to July 4 in Single Round Robin format with all matches best of three (BO3).

Then, the top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs played from July 13-16, 2023. Teams will battle in a Double Elimination format, with all games being best-of-three (BO3), except for the Lower Bracket Final and the tournament’s Grand Final, which is best-of-five (BO5).

Undoubtedly, we will have a truly spectacular tournament full of emotions. Also, the dream of all Challenger teams is to play at the highest competitive level, and this is the opportunity to achieve it. Although there is only one quota to be shared in this tournament, there is no doubt that each team deserves to be at the top because they have given everything during the entire 2023 season in their regions.

Finally, the team that wins the championship in this tournament will earn a direct berth to play in the VCT EMEA League 2024 and 2025.
