Fragster announces teams of CCT West Europe Series #2 Group Stage

After several days of action in the Play-In phase, we proudly present the teams invited to the Group Stage of the CCT West Europe Series #2.

A total of 16 teams will then battle it out in the Group Stage of Series 2 for a chance to get one step closer to fighting for lion’s share of the $50,000 prize pool in the Playoffs phase of the series. And in addition, to increase their chances of attending the final LAN event.

Here are the 12 invited teams for the CCT West Europe Series #2 Group Stage:

In the group stage, the invited teams will be joined by the four teams advancing from the Play-In phase, which culminates tomorrow, March 7, 2023, with the following decisive matches:

• Coalesce vs. Undefined
• ex-bluejays vs. TBD
• Spirit Academy vs. Mixfits
• EPIC DUDES vs. TBD

Format & Schedule

As in the previous edition, the Group Stage of the CCT West Europe Series #2 will be played in Swiss format, with the teams fighting for one of the eight spots available for the playoffs.

The Group Stage begins this Thursday, March 9, and runs through March 17. The schedule will see four daily matches played starting at 11:00 CET and concluding with the last game will at 20:00 CET.

Once the group phase is concluded and the eight advancing teams from this phase are known, they will be joined by eight invited teams (to be announced in due course) in playoffs to battle for a share of the $50,000 prize pool. The Playoffs phase will be played from Monday, March 20, to Thursday, March 23.
