The Apex Legends Global Series today announced news of its fourth year partnership program. Twelve esports organizations are working directly with Electronic Arts and Respawn to foster community support for Apex’s biggest teams and competitive scene.

For the fourth season of the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS), Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have announced a partnership with twelve major esports organizations. The partners include renowned teams such as FaZe and TSM. This collaboration aims to strengthen the community around Apex’s biggest teams and competitive scene.

The following teams are partners in North America: LG Chivas, TSM, FaZe, OpTic Gaming, FURIA, XSET DarkZero, Moist Esports and Team Disguised. Alliance is participating from the EMEA region and Fnatic and Riddle from the Asia-Pacific region. The selection of teams for the partnership program was based on criteria such as participation in previous ALGS competitions, sporting achievements and commitment to the development of the global Apex community.

Teams receive financial support

The partner teams will receive financial support to build stronger structures for their competitive programs. Respawn plans to work closely with these teams to expand the fan base and strengthen ties with the community. This includes measures such as media training, special days at LAN events for photo shoots and interviews, larger booth spaces for teams, and the ability to host licensed tournaments, which is especially beneficial for organizations like TSM or FURIA that have hosted multiple community tournaments in the scene.

John Nelson, Executive Director and Commissioner of the ALGS, emphasizes the importance of competitors and participating esports organizations to the success of the league. He is excited about the opportunity to innovate with the twelve partner teams. There is also a continued commitment to work with all involved organizations worldwide to create a sustainable ecosystem and deliver outstanding experiences to fans.

Fnatic’s co-founder Patrik Sattermon has expressed his gratitude for the support from EA and the community since the team returned to the Apex competition last year. He sees the partnership as a significant step towards long-term sustainability for Fnatic in Apex Legends.

Return of Team DisguisedThe partnership also marks the return of the popular Team Disguised, which had previously disbanded its lineup after the 2023 Championship. The team’s founder, Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, talks about his enthusiasm for esports and the prospect of being in it for the long haul with EA’s support.

The fourth season of ALGS has begun with the Preseason Qualifiers, which will run from November 25th through December 18th to determine the final eight teams per region for the Pro League. The Pro League will then start next year on January 20 in all regions.
