The six teams qualified for the VALORANT Challengers Ascension 2023: Americas have been defined and will play for a direct berth to the VCT Americas League for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. These six teams played their hearts out in every game in their respective regional Challenger leagues and will now seek a berth in the VALORANT top flight in the Americas.
While it is true that the North American teams are the favorites to win this quota, we cannot overlook the South American talent on the VALORANT scene in recent years. Let’s remember that the Brazilian team, LOUD, was the champion of the VALORANT Champions 2022 and has just been champion of the VCT Americas League.
The table is set for these teams to fight for the coveted and dreamed slot for the VCT Americas League during the next seasons.
VCT Ascension 2023 – Americas Qualifying Teams
As mentioned above, the six teams that performed the best in NA, LA, and BR will fight for the only slot to play in the VCT Americas League for the next two seasons. The teams qualified for the VCT Ascension are the following:
- M80 – NA
- The Guard – NA
- FUSION – LA North
- 9z Team – LA South
- The Union – Brazil
- 00 Nation – Brazil
North America
M80 was the team that dominated the NACL from start to finish, especially in Split 1 and the Mid-Season Face-off, where they managed to finish in the first place. However, in Split 2, they had some problems in the regular season and finished in third place. Similarly, the team recovered in the playoffs and beat The Guard 3-1 in the Grand Final. Conversely, the Guard was always within the TOP 3 during the two Split and in the Mid-Season Face in the NACL.
Brazil bound! Congratulations to @M80gg and @TheGuard for qualifying for VALORANT Challengers Ascension 2023 in São Paulo!

9z Team, on the other hand, completely dominated the LA South region, comfortably winning Split 1 and 2, defeating Infinity (Split 1) by 3-0 in the grand final and All Knights in Split 2 by the same score.
Brazil
Finally, the guys from The Union were the best team of the VALORANT Challengers 2023: Brazil in both Splits, as they managed to win both very comfortably. However, 00 Nation struggled a lot to achieve this classification since, in Split 1, they finished in seventh place on the table. But they managed to recover greatly in Split 2 by reaching the grand final against The Union, thus achieving this qualification for the VCT Ascension 2023.
