FIFAe World Cup Finals 2022 set to kick off this week 

The FIFAe Finals 2022 is just around the corner, scheduled to run from July 14-30. The event will see the best FIFA players, teams and nations in the world compete against each other at the Bella Arena in Copenhagen. 

Multiple competitions will be played here namely the FIFAe World Cup, the FIFAe Club World Cup and the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022. All participants will be fighting for a total prize pool of $1.2 million in addition to the prize money achieved in the qualification.

FIFAe World Cup 2022

The FIFAe World Cup is a competition for single players. Players from around the world compete in FUT Champions first on weekends throughout the year to become FUT Champions Verified. From there, the top players qualify for online qualifying tournaments held throughout the FIFA Global Series season. Whoever has collected the most points over the current season plays in the playoffs for entry into the FIFA World Cup.

To be crowned world champions, players must face off against the world’s elite in a round-robin group stage, with only the top four in each group advancing. This is followed by a knockout phase, from which the winner of the tournament is determined.

Some familiar faces have qualified for the finals, including players like Tekkz, Nicolas99FC or Levi de Weerd. A total of 32 players compete against each other in the single-player tournament for total prize money of $500,000. The games will be played between July 14-17. 

FIFAe Club World Cup 2022

Clubs competing in the FIFAe Club World Cup had to go through a series of qualifiers in the league system. The winners of these leagues qualified for the FIFAe Club Playoffs. Only the best clubs from the FIFAe Club Playoffs qualified for the climax – the FIFAe Club World Cup 2022. Here they meet the clubs that qualify via the FUT Team of the Year Cup and the FUT Team of the Season Cup.

A total of 24 teams will compete at the FIFAe Club World Cup for a prize pool of $300,000. The tournament will take place between July 20-23. Teams like Fnatic, Ninjas in Pajamas, Vitality and EXCEL are represented here. There are also German Bundesliga representatives — 1.FC Köln and Schalke04. 

FIFAe Nations Cup 2022

The FIFAe finals come to a spectacular conclusion with the national team competition. A total of 23 nations will compete alongside the hosting nation Denmark in a 2v2 format for their country’s pride. The top four finishers from each group advance to the knockout stages, where they get a chance to play on a big stage and in front of fans.

Countries from all over the world are taking part, including world number one Singapore, reigning FIFAe nations champions France, Brazil, first-time entrants India and many more. A German team is also represented and is fighting in Group B against Sweden, France, UAE, Peru and Japan for a place in the final round. The games will take place from July 27-30. The teams are playing for $400,000 in prize money.
