xQc wants his VALORANT squad to compete with Disguised Toast’s team

It’s no secret that when the popular content creator Disguised Toast announced the intention to form a professional VALORANT team, no one expected much. Well, the team has surprised all these doubters in the NA VALORANT Challengers League open qualifier.

Moreover, from the moment the official team lineup was announced, led by the experienced Joshua “steel” Nissan, good things were expected from this team. In addition to Steel, the team is composed of Damion “XXiF” Cook, Drake “Exalt” Branly, Joseph “clear” Allen, and Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar.

Disguised pulls off a surprise

Disguised had impressive performances in the NA VALORANT Challengers League open qualifier, as they did not lose a single match in the tournament. This made them one of the two teams that earned a berth in the VALORANT Challengers 2023: NA Split One, which starts on February 1.

OfflineTV content creator Disguised Toast claimed that the team was created with money taken out of his pockets. He also claimed he had to spend more than LOUD won in VALORANT Champions 2022. But the team has already started to pay off, sportingly speaking.

xQc wants to join the party

After seeing the successes of this newly formed team. The popular streamer considered to be the King of Twitch, Felix “xQc” Lengyel, wants to join the party and host Disguised Toast’s celebration. xQc states that he is thinking of forming his VALORANT team, which will have only one goal: “fucking smoke Disguised Toast’s team.”

This comment came out of the blue in xQc’s official stream on his Twitch, so it’s unclear if he had it in mind or if he will make it happen. But there is no doubt that the intention is latent there, as his tone and expression make it apparent.

Likewise, this thinking will likely change at xQc after it realizes that Toast pays more than $5,000 monthly to its players, as we mentioned in a previous article. But we all know that xQc is one of the most prominent streamers on the entire Amazon platform. Moreover, his audience is even five times bigger than Disguised Toast’s, so money should not be an issue.

Furthermore, this content creator is no stranger to the professional esports scene. He is not only a former professional Overwatch player. Also popular due to winning the MVP at the Overwatch World Cup 2017.

Undoubtedly, such an influential personality is the perfect candidate to create a VALORANT team. The problem would be if other streamers would want to commit to this expensive project.

On the other hand, the fan base that xQc has is immense. This means the supposed new team could have an impressive base supporting them in the tournament after the tournament.
