One of the newest additions to both Warzone Mobile and Modern Warfare III in Season 3, the FJX Horus is proving to be a close-range oriented SMG that can work well especially as a frontline support backup piece.

What are some of the best attachments for this fast-firing and easy-to-handle SMG? We tested it out during for battle royale and found this build to work!

UNDERBARREL: Bruen Tactical Vertical Grip (unlocked by leveling the MCW to Level 9)

This grip helps capitalize on the potential of the FJX Horus to become a hip fire beast by stabilizing the weapon’s gun kick and also reducing a bit of the hipfire spread.

 

MUZZLE: Sonic Suppressor S (unlocked by leveling the WSP-9 at Level 24)

The SMG version of the Sonic Suppressor functions very much like its bigger brothers by greatly increasing bullet velocity and adding a small damage range increase, allowing you to engage enemies at better distances. 

MAGAZINE: 48 Round Mag (unlocked at Level 7)

The Horus’ limited magazine capacity attachments is one of the reasons why it has become limited to a more close-range-oriented weapon. As the base 32-round mag may leave you lacking, use this 48 round mag attachment to make the most out of your FJX Horus’ close-quarter battle potential!

LASER: Point G3P-04 (unlocked by leveling up the Expedite 12 shotgun to Level 11)

The Point G3P-04 is a green hipfire-centered laser which can also help reduce the overall sprint to fire time of your FJX Horus. This allows your build to be used effectively whenever you’re aiming down sights or firing from the hip at close quarters.

BARREL: Ruse-90 Light Barrel (unlocked at Level 12)

This short barrel helps improve mobility, with boosts to ADS, sprint-to-fire, movement and sprinting speeds at the cost of a slight recoil and stability which can be easily mitigated.

 

OPTIONAL REPLACEMENTS:

 

OPTIC: Nydar Model 2023 or Slate Reflector [to replace Laser] 

In place of a laser, the Nydar Model 2023 or Slate Reflector can help FJX Horus users focusing on ADS to have a much clearer sight picture and lesser visual recoil. This can help for faster and more precise target acquisition, especially in those crucial final zones.
