Where to use the Crane Control Room Key in Warzone 2 DMZ mode?

We start with some guides to complete the different missions or contracts within the new DMZ game mode of Warzone 2. This time, we will explain how and where to use the Crane Control Room key easily and quickly.

In the DMZ game mode in Warzone 2, players will encounter different buildings that are locked or closed when exploring Al Mazrah. Some of these locations will be marked or classified as denied zones, and a specific key is needed to access them.

Crane Control Room

You will often encounter powerful AI fighters with armor and grenades guarding these areas. The Crane Control Room is one of the locked buildings on the Al Mazrah map, and this room can be unlocked with its corresponding key.

Like the rest of the keys to complete the different missions in Warzone 2’s DMZ mode, keys can be obtained by completing tasks, eliminating AI fighters, and completing contracts available on the map and in different bags or loot boxes.

These keys usually have three uses, corresponding to a specific location on the map. You can visit these locations to unlock the respective buildings.

Now, if you already got the Crane Control Room key, you must equip it in your backpack before starting the game in DMZ mode. Then, after deployment, check your tactical map and head to the location to unlock the building with its respective key.

Crane Control Room – Location

The Crane Control Room is located northwest of Al Mazrah, in the Al-Safwa Quarry POI. This area is full of AI fighters, so you must eliminate them before entering the building.

The key to the Crane Control Room can also be obtained by completing the Black Mous, Quick and Dirty faction mission. This is a level 3 mission of this faction, which means you must complete levels one and two to unlock this challenge.

Al-Safwa Quarry is an excellent point of interest on the map, and players will find a fortress at this location. The AI fighters carry armor and weapons with various attachments, which could be lethal if you are unprepared. Therefore, you must coordinate with your team to eliminate these fighters quickly and clear this POI.

Once you have eliminated all the AI fighters, head to the exact spot shown in the yellow circle in the image below to unlock the Crane Control Room.

The Crane Control Room is a small building and has only two floors. After you enter the building, get to the second floor through the stairs.

I’m already inside the Crane Control Room. Now, what do I do?

You will find different bags and loot boxes inside the Crane Control Room. ¿

We recommend you loot as much as possible in this building, as the Unearthed challenge of the White Lotus faction requires players to collect the Quarry Operations Folder from this building, so make sure you order everything you find inside it.

When you are sure you are done and have the folder in your possession, ensure you get to the extraction point as soon as possible and finish the mission.
