Global Esports players Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, who experienced travel delays as a result of the visa approval procedure, will soon be joining the rest of the roster in South Korea for the VCT Pacific League.

The founder of Global Esports, Rushindra Sinha, revealed on Twitter that the Indian players on the roster were facing issues with their visas, which made it difficult for the organization to field its full team for the opening round of the VCT Pacific League. The rest of the players on the Global Esports Roster have all arrived in Seoul and are ready to participate in the VCT Pacific League.

Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar and Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, Global Esports’ Indian duo, were unable to travel to South Korea in time due to a delayed visa application. After a lengthy delay that robbed them of the opportunity to attend the VCT Pacific League opening ceremony, SkRossi and Lightningfast have finally obtained their visa today and are preparing for their trip to South Korea.

Global Esports will compete without the Indian duo

Global Esports will be able to carry on with their VCT Pacific League campaign despite the setback of Lightningfast and SkRossi’s absence as starting players. The Indian organization features a seven-player lineup that includes players from North America, South Korea, Oceania, and India. Even though the two Indian players were unable to join the league in time, the remaining five foreign players had already arrived in Seoul.

This mark the second time the Indian organization will compete without full force. Global Esports previously struggled to perform to their full potential at the VCT LOCK/IN competition, where they were forced to participate without the services of Australian player Michael “WRONSKI” Wronski, who missed the event due to personal issues.

Despite all the obstacles, Global Esports will enter the competition with high expectations, carrying the hopes of millions of gamers as the lone Indian team in the competition. It will be an interesting test of the team’s ability to compete internationally without their Indian duo.

As far as the Indian player’s participation is concerned, they will likely fly to South Korea on Monday, March 27 just before Global Esports’ second match against DRX. Global Esports will want to field their strongest playing five against the Korean juggernauts DRX as they are among the league’s hardest teams.

Global Esports Valorant roster competing against T1 on March 25:

  • Jordan “AYRIN” He – IGL
  • Kim “texture” Na-ra
  • Park “Bazzi” Jun-ki
  • Michael “WRONSKI” Wronski
  • Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha
