A few days before the start of the VCT Pacific League, it was announced that the visa of some Global Esports players was in trouble. The founder of Global Esports is the one who has been in charge of letting all the fans know the worrying situation the team is going through.
Through his Twitter account, Rushindra Sinha exposed all the details of the visa problem that the team has. In addition, he released the names of the players who so far are in the air without knowing if they will be able to attend the tournament.
Visa problem in Global Esports team
As we already mentioned, the founder of Global Esports is the one who has commented on the team’s visa problem. Due to this situation, the team’s performance in the VCT Pacific League opening round may be difficult.
Sinha revealed on his Twitter account that the team’s Indian players are waiting for their visa situation to be resolved. Specifically, Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury and Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar are the players experiencing this situation.
On the other hand, all non-Indian players are in Seoul and have the proper visa to travel. Therefore, at the moment, all these players are preparing for their trip.
Visa Update : Every NON – Indian passport holder from GE is now in Seoul, South Korea ready for the pacific league starting this week.
Indian passport holder Visa are currently still under process – as soon as we get passports back we will fly (Rossi, Golu, Vatsal & Me) that…

According to the GE founder, there is no fixed time frame for the procedure; the players could have their passports back in a few days or a few months.
Sinha adds that, for now, the only thing they can do in this situation is to wait for their passport to be returned to them; everything they were supposed to do has already been done.
Global Esports could participate in the VCT Pacific League without some players
Due to the visa problem some GE players are experiencing; the team will likely have to compete in the VCT Pacific League without those athletes.
The first battle the team has to face is next March 25, where they will play against T1. Considering the absence of some of their players, many people might think that the team is weakened. However, the team lineup is still very challenging.
Despite the absence of key players in the squad, GE still has other players with excellent conditions to fight for the top spots in the tournament.
The last tournament in which GE competed was the VCT LOCK/IN held in Brazil. On that occasion, GE was defeated in the opening round of the tournament by Team Vitality.
Because of this, the team must change its game strategy if it wants to perform better in the VCT Pacific League.
