As part of Episode 7 Act 1, Valorant will get a new Progression System, new in-game currency, and the highly anticipated game mode, Team Deathmatch, in which two teams fight to be the first to 100 kills across three new maps.

With Episode 7, the much-awaited Team Deathmatch mode will debut in Valorant, bringing fierce team-based combat and a novel twist to the traditional Valorant gameplay. Several exciting new features and changes are also included in the upcoming Episode 7 of Valorant, such as a new currency called Kingdom Credits, better daily rewards, special events for agents’ recruitment, an accessories store, and much more.

Valorant’s revamped Progression System

In addition to introducing a brand-new mode, Riot Games will also revamp the in-game progression with the upcoming season of the Valorant. As part of the overhaul, a brand-new currency called Kingdom Credits will be introduced, which can be used to open events for agent recruitment, buy accessories, and more.

Kingdom Credits can be obtained by taking part in matches, completing daily and weekly missions, and moving forward with the new agent recruitment process. Both new players and those who missed out in the past will have the opportunity to acquire items and accessories from previous battle passes thanks to the Kingdom Credits.

Accessories Store

A new storefront called the accessories store, which will provide a variety of things from past battle passes that the user doesn’t currently own, will also be included in the update. Items from either a premium battle pass that the player never bought or from a battle pass level that the player never attained can be included in this. Each player is only permitted to hold a specific number of Kingdom Credits, thus it makes sense to use part of them on items you previously missed as new items will be added to the store every week.

A new Agent recruitment process

Players can take part in a brief agent recruitment event right away after a new agent is launched, bypassing the need to choose an agent contract and level that up to unlock an agent. By earning a particular number of XP during the recruitment event, players can unlock the new agent. If players don’t get the agent during the event, though, they can spend Kingdom Credits to unlock the Agent later.

Team Deathmatch Mode

Teams of five will compete in VALORANT’s Team Deathmatch mode on one of three unique maps—Piazza, District, or Kasbah—that look to be mashups of the game’s existing maps. These maps are ideal for players to explore and conquer as they lack spike locations and have substantially more clutter and obstructions Although specifics regarding the maps are still being kept under wraps, players can anticipate a range of distinctive features and tactical chokepoints to improve the gameplay experience.

Players will encounter Recovery and Ultimate orbs across the maps and they both offer notable gameplay advantages. A buff that progressively recovers life and shields over six seconds is provided by recovery orbs, which can be discovered in specific locations on each map. On the other side, Ultimate orbs periodically spawn in certain locations and, upon collecting, charge up a portion of a player’s ultimate ability.

Everything you need to know about Valorant’s TDM

  • The team that scores 100 kills first wins the match, If no team scores a killing century before the clock runs out, the team with the most kills wins the match.
  • Since your load-outs are automatically upgraded, the typical economy from standard Valorant matches is gone, which means you cannot purchase abilities either.
  • Ultimate abilities can be acquired by kills and collecting ultimate orbs, but they’ll come with cool-down periods.
  • There will be four stages during each match of Valorant’s Team Deathmatch, with each stage offering players a different range of weapon load-outs.
  • After 1.5 seconds, a player who has died will respawn on their team’s spawn with a buff that will shield them from attacks and abilities for 15 seconds.
  • By finding the scattered Weapon Spawners across the battlefields, players will also have the opportunity to find better weapons. These spawners produce randomly generated weapons, which adds an element of surprise and motivates players to explore the map in search of potent weapons.

Episode 7 Act 1 release date

The Valorant community has responded quite favorably to Team Deathmatch as it appears to provide a welcome diversion from the fierce and competitive nature of the game’s standard modes.  The new Team Deathmatch mode and other features of the impending Valorant update will probably be revealed to fans closer to the update’s official release. Since Riot Games often releases updates on Tuesdays and the current Battle Pass expires on June 26, it is quite likely that the new update will arrive on June 27.
