Nigma Galaxy Fe crowned champions of ESL Impact League S3 Finals

The ESL Impact League S3 has reached its finals, and, for the fifth time in a row, the girls of Nigma Galaxy Fe have crowned champions by defeating NaVi Javelins 16-6 in the tournament’s Grand Final.

There is no doubt that Nigma Galaxy Fe is the best CS:GO team in the world and is the best team in the history of the ESL Impact League. Likewise, we cannot overlook the high level demonstrated by other teams in this tournament, such as NaVi Javelins and B4 Female.

In addition, special mention must be made to FlyQuest RED, a team that managed to sign with an organization hours before the start of the ESL Impact League, so they had to fend for themselves for several weeks.

Nigma Galaxy and its perfect path in the ESL Impact League S3 Finals

Nigma Galaxy Fe demonstrated a spectacular level of play throughout the tournament. First, they completely dominated Group B, beating Shimmer (16-2) and 9Pandas Fearless (16-7) to secure first place. Then, in the playoffs, they faced B4 Female, another team with a great level, but they got a solid 2-0 victory.

On the other hand, we have the NaVi Javelins girls, who, like Nigma Galaxy Fe, dominated Group A by beating HSG (16-6). Then, they had a close match against B4 Female but took a narrow 16-14 victory. Finally, they categorically defeated FlyQuest RED in the playoffs by 2-0 with two beatings to qualify for the grand final.

Nigma Galaxy Fe vs. NaVi Javelins – Grand Final recap

Nigma Galaxy Fe showed great collective play in this grand final against NaVi Javelins, as all the girls finished with a +1.15 Rating, and three of the five players had more than 80 ADR. On the other hand, for NaVi Javelins, Karolina “Liina” Kasprzyk tried her best to make her team face the power of Nigma Galaxy, but it was not enough, and they ended up losing 0-2.

The series was played in Inferno (Nigma Galaxy) and Ancient (NaVi Javelins).

Inferno

It all started at Inferno, the map pick of Nigma Galaxy Fe, where the girls started with everything and got an excellent partial victory by 10-5 in the first half on their side T. However, in the second half, the girls of NaVi Javelins woke up and managed to put the score by 13-15. Finally, Nigma Galaxy won the last round to take the victory on the first map by 16-13.

Ancient

In Ancient, everything was completely different, as the NaVi Javelins girls seemed to have used up all available fuel in the first map of the series. Again, Nigma Galaxy managed a 10-5 win in the first half, but this time on their CT side. Ultimately, NaVi could only win a single round as the sides switched sides. As a result, the Nigma Galaxy Fe girls have been proclaimed ESL Impact League S3 champions after this 16-6 victory.
