The LCS Spring Split 2023 playoffs are coming to an end, and many of the teams that are not still in the running are already thinking about what changes to make for the rest of the season. One of these organizations thinking about making a clean slate in their ranks is TSM and has begun to do so by releasing Colin “Solo” Earnest.
In addition, decisive information has been revealed in the last few hours regarding TSM’s future in the esports scene. There is talk that the organization would consider pausing some esports divisions due to financial problems. In addition, there are also rumors that TSM would sell its spot in the LCS.
TSM and Solo part ways for the Summer Split
Before the end of the Spring Split, TSM decided to start changing its lineup. All this looking to have better results in the Summer Split. As we have already mentioned, the first of them is top laner Colin “Solo” Earnest.
While it is true that the organization has not made an official statement, the player himself decided to reveal the information through his official Twitter account.
TSM and I have parted ways, so I'll be a free agent coming into summer split. Playing is the priority, but I'm open to returning to coaching!

As we note, Solo announces that, after a mutual agreement between him and TSM, they have decided to go their separate ways. He also announces that from now on, he will declare himself a free agent and is open to taking on the role of coach of some team.
This move comes on the heels of some rumors surrounding the organization. According to Sports Business Journal, TSM could drop its entire League of Legends team and sell its place in the LCS due to financial problems.
A report states that TSM could be halting several of their esports rosters and potentially putting their LCS spot for League of Legends up for sale…

About Solo
There is no doubt that Solo is one of the most experienced players in the NA League of Legends scene. The 29-year-old has been part of many organizations in the LCS scene for over eight years, such as Team Liquid, FlyQuest, and Golden Guardians.
In addition to being a great player, Solo eventually becomes part of the LCS broadcast team. We have observed how on several occasions, the player joins the analysts to explain and analyze the plays of the official matches.
However, there is no doubt that the start of the 2023 season for TSM in the LCS has not been as expected by the organization, and one of the moves they made a few weeks ago sent Solo to the bench. In his place, LCS veteran and TSM’s best academy player, Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell, came in. But, this change did not affect the team’s level much, as they were left out of the playoffs.
