The good news continues in the world of women’s esports. Since 2020, the female VALORANT competitive scene has grown exponentially, so much so that we have already observed an excellent level in the different VALORANT Game Changers that have been played.

This growth goes hand in hand from the moment the Discord community, Galorants, started to organize different tournaments for teams of female and non-binary players.

VALORANT Game Changers

Thanks to the excellent results, Riot Games partnered through the VCT Game Changers circuit, which would be the female equivalent of the VALORANT Champions Tour.

Less than a month ago, we witnessed the first international Game Changers championship, which took place in Berlin, Germany. This was the first time that VALORANT teams of female and non-binary players faced each other in a LAN event.

Riot’s goal is to have different female players join the VCT at some point, which men dominate. But this Game Changers initiative is a huge first step to achieving this integration.

Top 5 Valorant’s best female players

The growth of Game Changers goes hand in hand with the increasing popularity of VALORANT around the world. As a result, each region continues to spawn new organizations, and more female and non-binary players are constantly emerging.

Here are the top 5 female players in VALORANT today.

5- Mimi

First on the list is mimi, a player who has made that big jump like many other CS:GO pros to VALORANT.

Mimi is a very experienced player but, above all, very competitive. She is one of only three women who have been able to win international competitions in two different esports.

The veteran has played for Team Secret and XSET and now belongs to G2 Gozen, one of the best female VALORANT teams in the world. This was confirmed at the tournament held in Berlin a few weeks ago when they lifted the Game Changers championship trophy.

4- Bob

There is no doubt that Bob’s game mechanics make her one of the most potent female players in the world. Her ability to hit shots is exceptional, and it is common to see spectacular plays in her games.

Bob is part of an excellent Cloud9 White team, which she joined mid-2022. While her style of play was not quite the same as that of her new team, they adapted perfectly. Since then, Bob has become a mainstay of the team for any C9 fan.

Before being part of Cloud9 White, Bob was part of Soniqs. She mainly has an initiator role but is versatile enough to play any role.

3- Sonder

One of the great revelations of the Game Changers played in Berlin a few weeks ago was sonder, who plays for Shopify Rebellion.

Although sonder has played many online tournaments in North America, remember that the LAN experience is entirely different and even more so if you play in front of thousands of live spectators.

This player is remembered for coining the phrase “It’s sonder time” after demonstrating her incredible ability to control games in difficult moments. Mainly, this player uses Neon and Razer as her agents.

From being a talented player in online games, sonder became internationally known for being one of the faces of Shopify Rebellion.

2- MeL

In the second place, we have Cloud9 White’s IGL, MeL. There is no doubt that besides being the best player in her team, she is always the best in every match she plays.

Thanks to MeL, Cloud9 White has become a VALORANT powerhouse in North America, winning every regional VCT Game Changers tournament.

MeL has spectacular game knowledge and excels exceptionally as an individual player and IGL.

MeL’s outstanding performances in her career have led many personalities to believe she is ready to enter the men’s professional scene.

1- Mary

While for many, Sonder was the player who made the most significant impact at the Game Changers in Berlin, Mary’s path to success has seen her lift the championship trophy at this major LAN event at the age of just 16.

Mary joined G2 Gozen only in October 2022, after the veteran zAAz player retired from the professional VALORANT scene. Her retirement was a tough blow for G2, but mimi stepped up.

Mary had to face Game Changers and stepped up with the minimum age to play in the VCT. In addition, Mary was one of the key players for G2 Gozen to beat Shopify in the Grand Final.
