Worlds 2023 is getting closer and closer, and little by little, we are getting to know the teams participating in the League of Legends end-of-season tournament.

The LPL had to finish its summer season much earlier than the rest of the world’s regions due to the Asian Games, so several days ago, we know the Chinese teams that will be present at Worlds 2023. As a result, JD Gaming, Bilibili Gaming, LNG Esports, and Weibo Gaming are the four Chinese LPL teams that will travel to South Korea to dispute Worlds 2023.

Some familiar faces and others not so familiar are the ones that we will have in the next Worlds 2023 from the LPL, but there is no doubt that the teams are very balanced and have experienced players and young promises.

JD Gaming and Bilibili Gaming lead the LPL at Worlds 2023

There is no doubt that JD Gaming and Bilibili Gaming lead the Chinese teams in Worlds 2023, as, in addition to being very consistent throughout the season, they also represented China in MSI 2023.

On the other hand, we have LNG and Weibo got their tickets to Worlds after their excellent performance in the LPL Regional Finals.

  • Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok
  • Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk

Bilibili Gaming finished second in the Spring Split and third in the Summer Split. However, the team was one of the finalists of the MSI 2023, which helped the team to score the necessary points to qualify for Worlds 2023.

There is no doubt that even though the team was JD’s shadow throughout the season, they showed a spectacular level of play and managed to beat Gen.G and T1 at the MSI. Finally, Bilibili Gaming’s lineup for Worlds 2023 is as follows:

Thanks to their spectacular performances throughout the LPL Summer Split 2023 regular season, LNG and EDward Gaming faced each other directly in the Upper Bracket Finals to determine the first qualifier for Worlds 2023. After four intense matches, LNG took the victory by 3-1 and thus sealed their ticket to South Korea.
