TenZ to stay in Sentinels’ starting lineup for VCT 2024

There is no doubt that, after the end of the VALORANT Champions, chaos begins in the VCT scene because in the offseason, anything can happen, and teams are trying to put together their best possible team for the next season.

This time, one of the most popular and undoubtedly one of the best players on the scene, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, seems to have already secured his place in the Sentinels lineup for VCT 2024.

While it’s true that the announcement was really strange, considering how straightforward Sentinels is about making announcements, everything seems to indicate that TenZ will remain in the team’s starting lineup at the VCT for at least one more year.

Sentinels announce that TenZ is staying with the team

Through a video post on its Twitter/X account, the North American organization Sentinels announced that TenZ is “here to stay” with the team.

Official reports highlighted that TenZ signed a contract with Sentinels until 2023. This is unlike the rest of the team, which extended their contract for 1 more year. However, after seeing the video posted by the organization on Twitter, everything seems to indicate that the player will remain in the lineup for next season.

Undoubtedly, it is a well-produced video where we observe the popular content creator and former CS:GO player, Tarik “tarik” Çelik. However, there is no reference to TenZ signing a new contract with Sentinels or anything of the sort. Similarly, everything seems to indicate that the player will remain with the team for next season, and if we look at the responses to this post, we all think the same.

Sentinels scoffs at rumors

In recent weeks, many rumors have been heard about possible financial problems on the part of Sentinels. However, in the video development, we can see that the organization seems to be mocking these rumors, and, in addition, they also take care to ratify that TenZ is one of their most valuable players.
