Team Spirit manager Korb3n spoke to Sergey, the match-fixing boss of the Dota 2 scandal, on the stream. Sergey has often contradicted himself and tried to put himself in a good light and present his “business” better than it is obvious.
The Dota 2 match-fixing scandal is getting more bizarre by the day. Youtuber and blogger Morf recently published the second part of the match-fixing investigation, blaming a lot of players. He also revealed the name who is said to be the boss of the match-fixing ring.
Surprise stream visitors
Team Spirit’s manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, also watched Morf’s video about the match-fixing mafia. Giving his own opinion on this, he was contacted on stream by the boss of this match-fixing ring, Sergey. Fedor “velheor” Rusikhin, a player from Team Spirit, also came into the chat trying to prove his innocence, as he was also accused of game manipulation by Morf.

Korb3n watched the whole video during a stream and said to the first part of the Youtube video:
“…. everything this young man [Morf] says is absolutely correct.”
Velheor defends himself in the chat
During the stream, Velheor appeared in the chat to speak up about a person called Fedya, whom Morf’s video keeps mentioning. The player admitted being a friend of Monetin but claimed he was innocent. He explained that even though Fedya can be short for Fedor, it is not him. He also said that the chat log was “taken out of context.”
Despite stating that there is no 100% evidence against Velheor, Korb3n seemed unconvinced by Velheor’s defense. At one point, he advised him to publish his chat history with Monetin.
Velheor responded:
“Maybe I will. I’ll wait for the next part and see what he [Morf] has on me.” He doesn’t exactly look innocent with that, though.”
Mafia boss takes hype with him and calls Korb3n
Korb3n saw the whole video but also remained skeptical because sometimes, evidence is missing or just flimsy. As he was analyzing the video, Sergey, whom Morf calls the “real mafia boss,” joined Korb3n’s stream via video call. He praised Korb3n for being sensible “unlike other streamers” and claimed Morf made up most of the evidence “for the hype”.
Sergey talked a lot and Korb3n just listened most of the time. In general, the statements made by Sergey were very contradictory. During the conversation, he first described Sensibility as an insignificant “little troll” and later called it “one of the crucial figures in the match-fixing scene”.
.@morfDesigner released a huge video about 322 in EEU. He sent an agent into a mafia den and got a LOT of info. https://t.co/goeY2xZosn

Match-fixing boss on his own PR?
The “mafia boss” refused to name those involved in the match-fixing, saying he would never do such a thing. He talked a lot about honor, which is always very ironic with criminals, and described himself as a “reliable businessman”. Completely reassured, he called himself a “white” trader, while Sensibility was a “black”. He said he only offers “services” and works honestly.
This is crazy and disrespectful to the integrity of pro scene. Literally being ransomed into giving these losers money? P much every T1 player had a T2 phase, and 99% of them never considered 322. But they eventually make it, and they’re doing alright. Bitch made losers. Ban.
