The MENA-backed squad continues its dominance, winning their second title in a row after their win at BetBoom DACHA Dubai 2024. In DreamLeague Season 22, Team Falcons defeated the BetBoom Team in the Grand Final with a clean 3-0 result.

Sweeping the BetBoom Team in the Grand Final meant the Falcons won back-to-back 3-0 Grand Finals, with the previous victims being Team Liquid. Sneyking and the crew are looking to solidify themselves as the best team in 2024, like the Gaimin Gladiators did last year. They have won all S-Tier tournaments in the new year so far.

With this victory, Team Falcons pocketed $300,000 and 4,200 EPT points, which will help the roster qualify for future ESL events, including the highly anticipated Riyadh Masters, boasting tens of millions of dollars in prize pools. The second-place finishers, the BetBoom Team, have also been rewarded $175,000 and 3,500 EPT points for their efforts.

Team Falcons did not drop a single series throughout the two-week event, going on an undefeated run to claim the title.

In the first Group Stage, Team Falcons had a relatively slow start, drawing five out of seven Best-of-2 matches. However, they won the remaining two matches 2-0 and technically did not lose a series. This result put them 9-5 to advance to the second Group Stage.

Only the eight best teams in the tournament remained during the second Group Stage. This phase was when the Falcons started picking up the pace. They went on a near-flawless run, defeating every team to go on a 7-0 series win streak.

The Falcons won all their matches 2-0, except their match against Team Aurora, where they won 2-1. In terms of maps, Cr1t and company went 14-1, just shy of a perfect run, dropping their only map to the team that went 5-14.

After the conclusion of the second Group Stage, it was already imminent that Team Falcons would win the entire event, and it was just a matter of time. After finishing at the top of the second Group Stage, the BetBoom Team and Team Falcons clashed in the Upper Bracket for a spot in the Grand Final. After an intense series in which the Eastern European side put up a good fight, the Falcons could still secure the win.

The BetBoom Team had to claw their way back through the Lower Bracket, taking care of Ame and Xtreme Gaming 2-0 to set up a rematch against the Falcons in the Final. However, the last series of the tournament did not turn out as interesting as their previous scuffle in the Upper Bracket.

Team Falcons could obliterate their opposition with a 3-0 finish, leaving the BetBoom organization still without a title in Dota 2. Overall, all professional players and teams can agree that we are looking at the best team in the world right now. All competitors must level up in the coming weeks to have a chance at leaving a dent in Team Falcons’ armor. A new big patch will likely drop, which could stir up exciting results in the coming tournaments.
