Ahead of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit Season Two, Team Empire has announced the arrival of two new players. Ivan “VANSKOR” Skorokhod and Gleb “Depressed Kid” Ziryanov have joined, while Uladzislau “Petushara” Kazlouski has also been reverted to their main lineup. The roster changes were confirmed by the organization’s Esports Director, Alexander “StrangeR” Solomonov.

VANSKOR has been with Empire since March, having joined on loan from HellRaisers. The Russian was made inactive by HellRaisers after a series of roster changes, which worked in the favor of Empire, who brought out the remainder of his contract ahead of Season Two. The Support made his name for the likes of Team Spirit, Gambit Esports and Team Unique, before starting 2021 with HellRaisers.

What Empire Has Said on the Roster Changes

Meanwhile, Depressed Kid arrives on loan from Team Unique, having been inactive since January 17. Speaking on the arrival of the duo, StrangeR stated that: “The team began training with this lineup even before the start of the D2CL, there was enough time to make sure that our decisions were correct. Replacements were needed. I hope that the combination of youth and experience will bring the expected result.”

Petushara will return to the fold after being benched in the middle of last month, however it is bad news for Alexander “gwynbleidd” Abakumov, who will act as a substitute during the season ahead, following his removal from the Empire main roster. Petushara also previously competed for Team Unique, before joining Empire at the beginning of this year.

When Will We See VANSKOR & Depressed Kid in Empire Colors?

Empire are currently preparing for matches in the CIS Regional League Lower Division. This comes as a result of their relegation from the Upper Division at the end of Season One. Empire lost their 6th/7th place tiebreaker against Unique.
Fans can see how the new arrivals get on when they make their Empire debut on April 15. It has certainly been a busy month for Empire, who released Ukrainian support Sergey “Ecnart” Slobodyanyk on April 5.
