Something would make Agent change after Jett’s imminent nerfing

Ilya “Something” Petrov, VCT Champions 2023 runner-up with Paper Rex and current VCT Pacific League 2023 MVP, plans to make an agent change following the Jett Nerf.

Something said he would be making changes to his Agent going into next season

In Something’s interview with Dot Esports following PRX’s loss to EG in the VCT Grand Finals, the Russian star of the team said that, because of the changes in patch 7.04 to Jett, he is considering making an agent change. Something also mentioned that, besides looking for an alternative to Jett, he is also open to making a role change, just as many other professional players have mentioned.

In the interview, Something said that Jett will die in VALORANT Patch 7.04. However, he mentioned that his possible choices of agents would be Raze or Phoenix. In addition, he also opened up the possibility that he might switch to Initiator, mentioning the names of agents Skye and KAY/O.

However, there is also a latent possibility that he might play Reyna as the main Agent since this has been one of Paper Rex’s mainstays throughout the season. According to Something, Reyna is an effective Agent who, with a flash that doesn’t blind his team, can help, and a lot, to achieve victories.

Other players show their dissatisfaction with Jett’s nerf

While Something took this news well and is open to changes in his role in the game, others are unhappy. For example, Fnatic star Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev expressed his great unhappiness about the upcoming Nerf to Jett. Derke said the changes should be “subtle” and “balanced.”
