After witnessing the surge in popularity of Valorant esports, S8UL Esports, and Global Esports, two of the most popular Indian esports organizations, have formed a strategic alliance to build the Valorant ecosystem in India. The alliance will begin with VCT LOCK/IN Sao Paulo, Brazil Global Esports’ first competition as a partnered Valorant team.

S8UL and Global Esports, two of India’s largest and most influential gaming organizations, announced a strategic partnership, aimed at developing the Valorant ecosystem in India. A thriving and supportive gaming community will be created by merging the skills and expertise of both organizations, which are household names among Indian esports fans. This will result in authentic esports experiences unlike anything ever seen before by Indian audiences.

Since this is S8UL and Global Esports’ first strategic partnership in the foray of Valorant, it will play to each company’s advantages and, perhaps, present a chance for emerging Valorant players in India. With a strong background in PUBG Mobile and BGMI Esports, S8UL is one of India’s top esports and gaming content companies. The popular PUBG Mobile content producer Naman “MortaL” Mathur originally served as the front face of S8UL Esports, which experienced enormous success over the ensuing years.

Although the organization was already well-known, it received widespread acclaim after winning the “Content Group of the Year” title at the Esports Awards 2022. As one of the ten partnered teams for the Asia Pacific League, Global Esports already has a strong presence in the Valorant scene. Now, as part of the new strategic alliance, S8UL Esports and Global Esports will jointly represent India at the VCT LOCK/IN Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Can the two esports giants revitalize the Indian esports scene?

The esports athletes and organizations involved in the Indian esports scene were desperately hoping to see the sport flourish in the nation with a variety of new titles after the popular esports titles, including PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India, and Free Fire got banned. Since the ban on battle royale games, there is no longer a single game that controls the Indian gaming market. Instead, other games are finally starting to establish more of a presence in India and Valorant appears to be running ahead of every other title.

The partnership between S8UL Esports and Global Esports may be one of the most important partnerships in the Indian esports ecosystem to date and is exactly what the Indian esports scene needs to get over the obstacle it has been experiencing in recent years. Based on the history of both organizations and their popularity, this collaboration could have a significant impact on the Indian esports ecosystem. The alliance can provide a better platform for players, coaches, and underdog teams while also enabling Valorant to soar to new heights of recognition and achievement in the Indian market.
