S1mple talks about NaVi rumors

After NaVi failed in their last tournaments, many rumors about moves in the team’s roster started circulating. There is a lot of talk about the departure of Andrij “npl” Kukharsjkyj, as the player has not lived up to expectations.

However, after the latest rumors claimed that NaVi would part ways with Andrij “B1ad3” Ghorodensjkyj, their Head Coach, CS:GO GOAT, and NaVi star, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev, gave a strong response to it all.

It cannot be ruled out that NaVi will make any changes in this player break. Similarly, s1mple’s statements regarding B1ad3 rumors are decisive and very vertical, as let’s remember that this team practically revolves around the Ukrainian superstar.

s1mple denies rumors of B1ad3’s departure from NaVi

After all the reports in the last few days regarding the possible departure of B1ad3 from NaVi, s1mple denied the rumors and mentioned that the only way for the Coach to leave the team was if B1ad3 himself wanted to.

All these rumors have been going around since NaVi’s disappointing run at the Paris Major a month ago. Different leakers and esports journalists in the CIS region claimed that B1ad3 would be replaced by the NaVi squad. However, s1mple stated that all these rumors are really “stupid.”

As we observed, in one of his broadcasts, s1mple gets upset when talking about the rumors of B1ad3’s departure from the team. According to s1mple, it is “stupid” to say that NaVi will fire B1ad3 or that the coach is leaving the team. In addition, the Ukrainian star stressed that NaVi’s Head Coach is one of the “smartest” people he knows.

About B1ad3

B1ad3 has been a part of NaVi since the 2019 season when he joined the organization as the director of esports. However, just months later, he switched to Head Coach of the team and was one of the key pillars of NaVi’s victories in recent years. It is worth noting that B1ad3 was the coach of the NaVi that won the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, IEM Cologne 2021, and the Intel Grand Slam S3 in 2021.

All these rumors started circulating last May 23, and everything pointed to B1ad3 and npl leaving the organization. S1mple did not talk about the situation of any of the players on the team, but there is no doubt that NaVi needs a reshuffle in the starting lineup to return to the top of the CS:GO scene.

In addition, npl’s performance over the past few months has not lived up to expectations, so it may only be a matter of time before NaVi announces a change in its lineup. Likewise, it is also possible that the team will keep its core players, as in this transition to CS2, they will likely want to stick together as they have been doing so far.
