It’s finally here! Riot has released an official teaser of Valorant Agent 21 after several days of teasing the impending Valorant agent through riddles and easter eggs.

Easter eggs on the practice range were the first to hint at Agent 21’s inclusion in the game. He was baited once more in an introductory voicemail planted as a riddle in Brimstone’s office, which revealed that Fade was actively trying to locate the new agent. Riot has finally released an official teaser showing the new agent riding his motorbike through the streets. In contrast to what fans initially believed based on Riot Games’ teasers, the forthcoming Valorant agent is Indian and goes by the moniker Harbor. Having officially revealed the agent’s name and his first look, Riot is likely gearing up to release a full trailer for him shortly.

Harbor’s expected release date

According to Riot’s previous pattern, Harbor will likely join Valorant’s agent pool in Act 3 of Episode 5. It is expected that Riot Games will launch Harbor on October 18, one day following the end of Episode 5 Act. Furthermore, the studio will make Harbor available for testing a few days before its release similar to what Riot always does before launching a new agent or a map. Although Riot has not yet revealed the precise abilities of the next Indian Agent, many are assuming that he will enhance the strength of Water, one of nature’s most essential elements.

Harbor’s expected abilities

Possibly two of his skills are depicted in the recently released poster. The first ability slightly resembles Viper’s deadly gas wall and appears to be a spherical wall capable of blocking bullets, while the other ability is anticipated to be a smoke wall. Furthermore, Riot’s announcement image for Harbor also provides some hints at his ability, where a spherical bubble can be seen behind him on his bike.

The ripples on the bubble in the picture also resemble the appearance of Astra’s Cosmic Divide wall, another bullet-blocking ability, when you fire at it. Nonetheless, Riot has yet to reveal what his abilities will be, so fans should wait until the official trailer is released before making up their minds about the new agent. Harbor will join Viper, Omen, Brimstone, and Astra as the fifth Controller agent in Valorant. He will also be the first Controller since Astra, who was introduced back in 2021. As a result, Harbor will have a significant impact on both the competitive game’s team dynamics and the in-game meta, especially on the recently launched map Pearl.
