Different information, rumors, and reports continue in the VCT competitive scene in the offseason. This time, these reports point again to the Spanish organization Team Heretics, who have reached a verbal agreement with Enes “RieNs” Ecirli for VCT 2024.

While there is no official confirmation of this information, it is no secret to anyone that Team Heretics is planning an absolute revamp of its VALORANT lineup heading into next season. The team, without a doubt, did not have a good season, and they hope to arm themselves and prepare in the best way for VCT 2024.

Reports indicate that RieNs will join Team Heretics for VCT 2024

According to a report by Alejandro Gomis for glix.gg, 18-year-old Turkish Enes “RieNs” Ecirli reached an agreement to play for Team Heretics in VCT 2024. According to the report, RieNs has spent several weeks practicing with the Spanish team. However, there are still no details about his contract, as he has received offers from different VCT organizations.

RieNs has never played at the top competitive level of VALORANT in his career, but he has consistently been in tournaments in France and Turkey. In addition, in his short pro career, he has played for S2G Esports, Surreal Esports, and HEET.

In their most recent performance, RieNs, playing under the S2G Esports banner, finished in second place at VALORANT Challengers 2023 Turkey: Birlik Split 2, where they lost in the Grand Final to Digital Athletics with a score of 0-3.

While it is true that RieNs is not a well-known player in the VCT scene, there is no doubt that he is a very talented young man who could make a team in any VCT organization. Besides, what better way to revamp a roster than with young blood and great talent.

Heretics and young players

On the other hand, it was also reported that Mert “Wo0t” Alkan would sign with Heretics for next season, but the team has to wait for the player to turn 18 before he can play. Recall that, with Riot Games’ regulations in the VCT, no player under 18 can play in official tournaments.

As a result, Heretics must move and look for a sixth player until Wo0t turns 18 (March 16), after the Madrid Masters, so they must sign a replacement as soon as possible.
