Esports in India continues to try to bring different teams to the highest competitive level, and one of these organizations, Revenant Esports, announced its return to the VALORANT scene.

Revenant makes this announcement with the mission to do well in the VCL 2023: South Asia Split 2. After not competing in Split 1, the team returns to the scene with a lineup of international players. In addition, the team assures it is ready to take on the best teams in the region.

Revenant Esports announces its return to the VALORANT scene

Revenant Esports announced its return to the VALORANT competitive scene through an extremely eloquent video.

In something we have never seen before in the Indian esports scene, Revenant announced by addressing each organization that was part of Split 1.

Revenant was not one of the seven teams directly invited by NODWIN Gaming, the organizers of VCL 2023: South Asia. Then, many rumors arose around the situation, as the organization had its full lineup and was ignored by the organizers. On the other hand, there were also many talks that Revenant Esports would join forces with Velocity Gaming to play Splir 1. However, none happened, and the team was completely left behind.

Rohit Jagasia, the organization’s CEO, said they could not play Split 1 due to legal complications. Moreover, Jagasia emphasizes that the lineup had enough time to prepare for Split 2, and now they are fully ready to win it all.

The announcement video was a mixture of jokes and disrespect

As we mentioned, the video where Revenant Esports announces their return to the VALORANT scene was directed to the rest of the teams that played Split 1. There is no doubt that, after watching it in full, we can realize that it is a mixture of jokes and disrespect towards their rivals.

There is no doubt that there were many provocative actions by the Revenant Esports guys in the video, and this may cause a response from other teams. For example, in the video, we observe how Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed threw a GodLike Esports t-shirt on the ground, and Shailesh “blackhawk” Dalvi turned the Gods Reign logo into a clown. In addition, Sahil “1TaPGoD” Duble pisses on the True Rippers logo.

As we can see, the community enjoyed watching this video because the reality is that it is something funny and, above all, provocative.

The community enjoyed this video ad made by Revenant Esports, which was targeted at all Indian esports organizations, leaving out MLT Esports, which belongs to Bangladesh.

In just 5 hours since the video was released, it has already garnered over 10,000 views on YouTube, almost 45,000 on Twitter, and thousands more on Instagram.

Finally, the Revenant Esports lineup that will play Split 2 of the VCL 2023: South Asia is as follows:

  • Shailesh “Blackhawk” Dalvi
  • Kasif “Paradox” Sayyed
  • Enrico Ching Perez
  • Joshua “JoshS” Miles Santos
  • Sahil “1TaPGoD” Duble
  • Tejas “rite2ace” Santosh Sawant
