On Thursday April 20th, or 4/20 as some people call it, there will be a new Street Fighter 6 gameplay presentation that will be full of news. In keeping with this date, there will be a very special guest that hardly anyone out there was expecting.
Ironically, rapper Lil Wayne will moderate the showcase. The promise of big news isn’t the only thing fans look forward to, as the host of the showcase itself is at least as big a surprise.
Tune in to the #SF6Showcase for an extended final look at Street Fighter 6 with over 30 minutes of big news and announcements.

Lil Wayne will host SF6 Showcase
Capcom, meanwhile, seems to be focusing on the casual space as well, rather than just focusing on the competitive side of its fighting games. With Lil Wayne on board, Capcom made a smart move, because nothing commands more attention than a celebrity, and one as well-known as the musician.
Popular US rapper Lil Wayne will be giving fans a deeper look into some areas of the game at the showcase that we haven’t seen in a while.
Lil Wayne aka Weezy can be seen in a short preview promoting the event. “We’re talking about new ways to fight, crazy new game modes, and some big announcements. Stay tuned, it’s going to be crazy,” he says.
Weezy will be joined by a number of other people throughout the 30-minute show, including some of the SF6 developers. The main part of this showcase, which will be streamed live on the Street Fighter YouTube and Twitch channels on April 20th at 5pm CT, will focus on the World Tour, Battle Hub and Fighting Ground modes.

What will be presented at the event?
Capcom has shared a lot of information about the game’s different modes in the past, and fans were even able to try out the Battle Hub during the two closed beta tests in late 2022, but there has been little information over the past few months. This will be an opportunity to revisit these modes while showing more ways to interact and customize Street Fighter 6.
In addition to these details, Capcom has also announced that there will be big news at the end of the show. Fans are already speculating that this will be a beta, wild story content, or the confirmation of DLC coming to the game shortly after its June 2nd release. Some fans are hoping for a new character a la Lil Wayne, but whether there will actually be one remains to be seen.
There may also be an additional surprise in the form of new music from artists like Lil Wayne, but that remains to be seen at the Showcase. Street Fighter 6 is coming to PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on June 2nd.
