RAMZES666 has recently been seen making fun of all the people who have come out accused of the match-fixing issue. Roman comments that one of the players accused was a member of the EZ KATKA squad, one of the teams he had competed against during his time at Virtus.pro.

On the other hand, Roman assures that strong measures should be taken against all cheating players and that all cheating players should be permanently banned from all Dota 2 tournaments.

Match fixing in Dota 2

Recently some professionals in the Dota 2 competitive scene have opened a debate about all those players who have been cheating and match-fixing.

Comments from professional players

As we commented, RAMZES666 has let his opinion on this controversy be known. The player has been very upset in a broadcast where he assures that, although there is no proof of cheating, everyone knows it is true.

On the other hand, the player recalled a moment when he was playing against EZ KATKA, and Lefitan was part of the team, and nobody understood why they were losing; RAMZES666 insinuated that they were cheating.

On the other hand, Team Spirit’s manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, has also given his opinion about this drama in Dota 2. Korb3n assures that trusting Monetin is extremely difficult without concrete proof; he assures that everyone who knows him knows he is an ambitious player and dumber than a rock. Korb3n’s comment becomes much harsher when he states that Monetin would lie about anything if he received financial compensation.

For his part, reigning Major 2023 champion Lima Quinn has echoed the sentiments expressed by his peers about match-fixing. The player agrees with the zero-tolerance policy for cheaters; he further states that all people involved in the issue of match-fixing should take responsibility.

Skiter, another player, has posted on Twitter his opinion and states that all who cheat and match-fixing should be banned from Dota 2 esports for life.

The drama of match-fixing in the Dota 2 competitive scene exposed by Russian journalist Morf has splashed many people. Lefitan is one of the players accused of match-fixing, and all players, even teams, have been accused of these cheats.

Valve has not pronounced itself on the matter, but it will likely do its investigation. For the moment, some professionals have already given their opinion.
