The official 2023 Overwatch League season is about to begin, and we enjoyed a taste of it in the Pro-Am tournament that ended a few days ago. Now, among the many announcements that the OWL has published in recent days, one of them focused on confirming which casters and analysts will be on the broadcasting tables in the 2023 season.

An extremely important change that we must highlight is the return of Mitch “Uber” Leslie, one of the most popular casters in the Overwatch scene who had not been in the preseason on the broadcast tables.

This is great news for the Overwatch community, who feel identified by the way this popular caster broadcasts the matches. Also adding to this is the news that he will be doing the broadcasts with his longtime commentary partner, Matt “Mr. X” Morello.

OWL announces casters and analysts for the 2023 season

Through an official statement on its Twitter account, the OWL announced the team of casters and commentators on the broadcast tables for the 2023 season. The surprise, and a very pleasant one, is that Uber, one of the most popular casters on the scene, is returning alongside his longtime partner, Mr. X.

After many fans complained about Uber’s absence during the preseason, we can tell them they can rest assured. From now on, they can continue enjoying their favorite duo in the official streams of the OWL 2023 games. Also, let’s remember that Uber took a break during the Pro-Am tournament; it wasn’t that it had been relegated.

Uber takes a break from Pro-Am for the birth of his son

After the official casters and commentators for the Pro-Am were announced, the community was concerned about Uber’s absence from the team. However, the caster quickly explained his Twitter account and the reasons for his “break.”

As we can see, Uber points out that he decided not to participate in the Pro-Am broadcast team due to the birth of his son. In addition, the caster mentions that he did not have the necessary time to plan everything regarding his trip, so he decided to stay at home.

Great talent for OWL 2023

While it is true that many fans are happy with the return of Uber and Mr. X, there is no doubt that the rest of the talent lineup is phenomenal, so whichever ones they air, we will always have great entertainment. The duos that will be on the OWL 2023 broadcast tables are:

  • Uber and Mr. X
  • Jack “Jaws” Wright and Scott “Custa” Kennedy
  • Victoria “VikkiKitty” Perez and Rosemary “Nekkra” Kelley
  • Jennifer “LemonKiwi” Pichette and Harry “LEGDAY” Pollitt
  • Seth “Achilios” King and Kevin “AVRL” Walker

We should note that these casters and commentators correspond to the East and West regions of OWL 2023. Also, this is only the announcement of the talent team, as we still don’t know which ones will take over each region. However, the closeness of the talents with some regions could give us clues about the selection.

Without further ado, we can only wait for the official start of OWL 2023, which is scheduled for April 27, 2023.
