There is no doubt that this is extraordinary news, as it is no secret that these servers have dominated casual games in recent times. However, for now, not everyone can access FACEIT CS2 Limited Access since, just like the game, it is limited to certain people and certain ranks.

FACEIT announce its limited competitive system for CS2

Through a post on its official blog, FACEIT revealed a new competitive system for some players with access to the CS2 limited test to have a better experience. It is none other than the FACEIT CS2 Limited Access, a privilege with different criteria that players must meet if they want to be part of it.

Now, as we can see, this new FACEIT product is very well structured, and we can see that it is divided into three phases. The first phase, which is currently on brand, consists of certain requirements for some players from all world regions to access the platform. Then, access will be extended to more people, while nothing has been revealed yet regarding Phase 3.

What is a fact is that Phase 2 starts at the same time as the official release of CS2 to the entire community. As a result, we will have the same (somewhat revamped) system in FACEIT that we are used to in CS:GO.

Likewise, FACEIT mentions that they will adjust player ELO and “skill level” in Phase 2. These changes result from the large disparity in some FACEIT games concerning player level and skill.

How to play in Limited Access FACEIT CS2

What interests us all is how to play on the platform in the Limited Access FACEIT CS2 is by fulfilling certain requirements. In phase 1, only Level 9 and 10 players can play CS2 in FACEIT, and these players must have registered more than 1000 games on the platform.

Moreover, a “Challenger” rank was also added for the best players in each world region. As a result, the top 1000 players from each region will be able to obtain this new rank on the platform, which becomes an additional motivation for players.

You can play CS2 on the FACEIT servers if you meet the above requirements. In this Limited Access period, players must copy and paste the Matchroom command (IP) into the game’s developer console.
