The Brazilian coach peacemaker leaves Team oNe the night before the opening of the BLAST.tv ParisMajor Americas RMR.

Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu is no longer the coach of Team oNe. His departure has been announced just one day before the team’s appearance in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR.

The 34-year-old will not be attending the event and the team will be instead coached by the organization’s CEO, Alexandre “kakaveL” Peres. However, it’s not clear if he’ll be able to back the team as such, given he wasn’t signed on as a coach leading up to the RMR.

peacemaker leaves Team oNe just before RMR start

Through his Twitter account, peacemaker announced that he left the team on March 27 and that was not involved in the RMR preparations. He has also stated that he entered free agency and is now looking for a new team.

peacemaker’s Twitter post reads:

“As announced, I’m out of Los One and I clarify that I haven’t been part of the specific preparation for the RMR since March 27th, when we started negotiating the contractual details of this departure, so I’m a free agent to continue acting as Coach. I wish you good luck and my huge thanks to the Los & Everyone fans who have always trusted my work.”

peacemaker’s departure comes just two months after he joined the team. During this time, Team oNe have claimed the 5th-6th place in the ESL Challenger LeagueSeason 43 and managed to qualify for the Americas RMR, while failing to qualify for IEM Dallas.

The short tenure with Team oNe followed after a six-months-long hiatus from coaching since he left Imperial back in August 2022.

Team oNe looking for a sixth coach since 2022

Finding a new coach will be a very familiar task for Team oNe as the team has had five different coaches since 2022. This includes Flavio “exp” Calheiros and Julio “jun” Junior who bost lasted around two months with the org, and Vitor “eleito” Estíva, who lasted less than two weeks.

During this time, the team has not progressed in international tournaments and has only been able to take last place at the ESL Challenger Rotterdam.

This is the current Team oNe roster:

  • Pedro “Maluk3” Campos
  • Matheus “pesadelo” Panisset
  • Alencar “trk” Rossato
  • Victor “iDk” Torraca
  • Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa

We’ll soon see whether the team, with their next permanent coach, will finally find someone who suits them and can help the players advance.
