Undoubtedly, it’s always sad when an organization loses a legend, but there must be changes in every team, no matter how painful they are.

This time, Team Vitality officially signed one of the most coveted players in this transfer market, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan. However, the sad part of this move is that the organization has dropped six-time Major winning legend Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen.

Undoubtedly, this is a bad taste in the mouth of all dupreeh fans, as we all know his capabilities and qualities within the game. However, this begins a new stage for him and Team Vitality.

Team Vitality announces the signing of flameZ

Through an official press release on its blog, Team Vitality announced the signing of one of the best players in the competitive scene today, flameZ. Likewise, in the same press release, they announced the departure of dupreeh and explained why they made this decision.

Team Vitality appreciated all that dupreeh brought to the team for almost two years. However, the organization needs to start revamping its roster with young players who will be the team’s future. Also, since the CS:GO competitive scene is winding down and CS2 is about to start, there is no better time to make this move.

As we know, dupreeh is the professional CS:GO player who has won the most titles in the game’s entire history. Moreover, the 30-year-old Dane participated in all the Majors (19 in total) organized, so his achievements will be in the history books.

After the news broke, dupreeh shared his thoughts via his Twitter account and mentioned that he didn’t feel it would be the end of the road with Team Vitality, but he completely respects the organization’s decision. Moreover, before everyone asked him, the 30-year-old clarified that he did not intend to retire. As a result, dupreeh is now looking for a new home to continue his successes in the imminent arrival of CS2.

Beginning of a new era for Team Vitality

The departure of dupreeh from Team Vitality after winning the Paris Major a few weeks ago opens the doors to one of the most promising talents in the CS:GO scene, the Israeli flameZ.

The talented 18-year-old entry fragger spent two years playing under the OG banner and, with his age and little experience, managed to captivate more than one in the scene to such an extent that he caught the attention of a giant like Team Vitality.

Now, with the incredible talent that flameZ has and surrounding himself with players like Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen, there is no doubt that the Israeli will be able to exploit his full potential with Team Vitality.
