NRG are planning to revamp its VALORANT lineup

With the VCT Champions 2023 very close to its end, the season is also very close to finish, so many teams are already thinking about their future in the VCT 2024. This time, we go to the VCT Americas because one of its teams, NRG Esports, plans to renew its VALORANT squad for next season.

All these rumors arise after a disappointing end of the season, as the team could not have the expected success despite having a good lineup of players. Likewise, after the end of the season, we will have many players who will move to free agency, so they will have a lot to choose from.

NRG would make a radical change to its VALORANT lineup

According to George Geddes, the renowned esports journalist, NRG Esports will be releasing Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, Sam “s0m” Oh, and Pujan “FNS” Mehta at the end of the 2023 season. As a result, Austin “crashies” Roberts and Victor “Victor” Wong would be the only members of the team to remain in the lineup for 2024.

While the departure of ardiis and s0m may be a big change in the team, there is no doubt that changing their IGL (FNS) is a radical change in the team’s strategy. However, we still won’t know how real these rumors are since teams must wait until next month before changing their lineups.
