The 24th installment of the top-selling basketball simulator by 2K Games has been released today! The NBA 2K23 comes in four different editions and brings many extra features, including the return of Michael Jordan challenges, a fancy MyCareer mode, and a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass, among other stuff.

While Devin Booker is featured as the cover athlete for the standard edition, Michael Jordan is the cover athlete for special edition versions of the game for the first time since NBA 2K16. Furthermore, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird appear as cover athletes in the retail-only WNBA Edition.

The game is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Jordan Challenge

The NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition will bring back the Jordan Challenge, as a part of which players are required to recreate 15 iconic moments from Jordan’s career. Besides the 10 original challenges from NBA 2K11 that have been rebuilt from scratch, the title also offers five entirely new Jordan moments.

To bring Jordan’s legacy to a younger generation of NBA fans, the Jordan Challenge features a selection of exceptional performances throughout Jordan’s college, NBA, and Team USA Basketball career. Furthermore, all challenges also include unique videos with commentary from Jordan’s teammates, friends, opponents, and other sports personalities who saw him do it live.

There are many more, but this list shows the caliber of names associated with the latest NBA 2K installment, and 100 Thieves definitely compares favorably with other big brands.
