In a major roster shakeup, Natus Vincere (NAVI) appears to be on the verge of bringing Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks back to the EMEA region for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 season.

The Valorant community is abuzz with reports of Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, the Latvian duelist, possibly making a triumphant return to the Natus Vincere (NAVI) roster for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) season. This potential move, as reported by reliable sources at BLIX.gg,  comes after a ten-month-long stint with NRG Esports.

According to reports from BLIX.gg, NAVI, and ardiis have reportedly come to a verbal agreement, setting the stage for a thrilling reunion. This verbal accord, although not official, has sent ripples of anticipation through the Valorant community. As Ardiis’ journey with NRG unfolded, he experienced several triumphs and setbacks. Over a ten-month tenure with the North American organization, he managed to secure a second-place finish at VCT Americas, showcasing his prowess on the server.

Ardiis’ adaptability shone as he displayed versatility, transitioning between roles and demonstrating top-tier gameplay not only as a Jett main but also as an exceptional Killjoy player when required. However, the team’s Masters Tokyo campaign concluded with a fourth-place finish, and their performance at Champions 2023 was marred by an early exit in the Group Stage at the hands of the Chinese newcomer, Bilibili Gaming.

These disappointments prompted significant changes within NRG, including their in-game leader, Pujan “FiNESSE” Mehta, transitioning to content creation alongside Sam “s0m” Oh.

Ardiis’ potential reunion with former FPX teammates:

If this agreement materializes, it would mark a reunion between ardiis and his former FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) teammates in the EMEA region. The FPX squad, which competed in EMEA in 2022, notably clinched victory at Masters Copenhagen, solidifying themselves as a dominant force in the VALORANT scene. The prospect of reuniting with these familiar faces has undoubtedly fueled ardiis’ return to the region.

While the verbal agreement between ardiis and NAVI appears promising, the final decision rests with NRG Esports. For this reunion to occur, NRG must agree to transfer ardiis to NAVI, which would mark a significant shift in the Valorant competitive landscape. With ardiis potentially joining the squad, it’s expected that he will assume the role of Duelist, bringing his aggressive playstyle and sharp skills to bolster NAVI’s roster.

cNed’s future with NAVI

As the team undergoes these changes, Mehmet “cNed” İpek, who is set to be replaced by ardiis, remains on NAVI’s bench. His future with the organization hinges on buyout offers from interested teams, which adds another layer of intrigue to the evolving Valorant esports scene.

The possibility of ardiis returning to EMEA and reuniting with his former FPX teammates has ignited excitement within the Valorant community. Fans and industry insiders are eagerly awaiting further developments as negotiations continue and the VCT 2024 season approaches. This potential reunion has the potential to reshape the competitive scene and elevate NAVI to new heights.
