Following reports that Warzone 2 player numbers have dropped considerably, one of Call of Duty’s legends, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, has created a list of things that could bring the community back to the game.

Supposedly the Warzone 2 player count situation paints a grim picture for the new battle royale. However, Nadeshot believes it’s time to get things back in order and has plenty of ideas for developers.

About Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag

Nadeshot is a retired professional Call of Duty player and a popular streamer and content creator on YouTube and Twitch. He is known for his gaming skills and entertaining commentary on streams.

Nadeshot was a member of OpTic Gaming, one of the most popular esports teams in the world, and has won several championships in Call of Duty competitions. He retired from professional video games in 2016 and devoted himself full-time to broadcasting and content creation.

Nadeshot, a year after his retirement, created his team 100 Thieves, which has ventured into the business world, creating his clothing line.

The veteran reached the highest levels of Call of Duty. So, it can be said that he has a high level of experience in these topics.

Nadeshot’s wishlist for Warzone 2

Nadeshot has published on his Twitter account a post where he lays out a list of possible changes that can improve everything from gameplay to the number of players in Warzone 2.

Some main goals, such as a list of full ranked matches and an overhaul of the game’s serve system, have been user requests since the game’s launch.

  • Full list of Nadeshot’s requests
  • Add the ability to plate while sprinting
  • Add ranked play and comprehensive stats
  • Significantly reduce headshot multiplier
  • Add reload canceling
  • Increase universal movement speed by 10%
  • Rework the looting system entirely

Another issue that caused quite a stir at the game’s launch was the removal of the reload cancel. Probably if reload cancellation is added back, it would be a welcome integration.

The ability to plate while running and a faster universal speed would significantly speed up the game. This would answer player concerns that the game is too slow and that movement has a noticeably reduced impact compared to the original game.

There is no way of knowing whether these changes would be enough to cover all the ground Warzone 2 has supposedly lost. However, we feel that, if the developers were to listen to anyone, the right person is Nadeshot, all of his ideas are in response to player criticism.
