Via his Twitter account, Monte Esports Head Coach lmbt has announced that he cannot attend the BLAST.tv Paris Major due to travel restrictions in Ukraine. As a result, the reigning CCT West Europe Series #3 champions will have to manage to advance to the next tournament stage without their coach.

Recall that since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, the local Ukrainian government has implemented travel restrictions on men between 18 and 60. According to local government statements, these measures are to have the necessary human resources in the country in case of any emergency. While during 2022, these restrictions were a little less strict, they are now very much so, and Russia is expected to make many more attacks in the coming weeks.
